Congrats on your TQ & Win Bob!!! What kind of settings/rollout were you using? I'm heading that way for the USOW and will have a Murfdogg 6.5 in my sprint.

Had a good weekend with my Murfdogg powered cars. It was the first time out for my 17.5 EDM (so I was still working on hitting the right gearing/setup) and ran 3rd Saturday night...then TQ'ed and won on Sunday. Saturday night I started on the pole in the C-Main with my Murfdogg 6.5 powered Mod Sprint...I managed to bump up to the B-Main and then to the A-Main for a 3rd place finish! Sunday I stripped a spur while running 2nd in the B-Main.

Great job Bob!

You are the man! Pass along your motor/ESC setup when you get a chance... should be good data for Open Wheel!

The motor stayed strong the whole run i think he told me that he avg lap was a 6.4 or 5 not sure. But it was a great run in his Hyperdrive assault and his murfdogg motor.
Jay has been a great addition to the team... He is always fast! Glad he was able to grab the track record! He was working hard for it!

No Problem... most orders ship within 24 hours of payment... Let us know if you need any help!

I ran my MURFDOGG 6.5 in "blinky" mode. 212 spec in tekin. B&J is having the Sprint car Nationals in 2 weeks. I wanted to try run one car in both classes and just change motor and gear. Not having to change the ESC profile save me from forgetting some thing. Motor was set @ about 7 degrees timing, "blinky" mode is no ESC timing.

Bob - Blinky mode... sounds good. What were your temps? I assume no runtime issues at all with the 6.5?

Bob - Thats what I like to hear... Do you think you could have used more power if you were not limited to 6.5? I tested a 4.0 boosted at my home track last friday, and my car was really quick, but i wanted more... My track is 230 foot...how big is bumps now?

I think B&J is now 175, Not sure if i could use more than a 6.5. Maybe a different set up in the esc, I was just trying to eliminate some of the variables.

I got one 13.5t & thought of giving it a try. Was running it & comparing back to back with other brands of motors. Nothing special about it to be honest. That's until I've tried it with the RS Pro & it was WOOOOOOOOO... Where that come from.. Total night & day.. Well happy with it now..

Cheers Matt

These motors were developed initially with 2s Boosted classes in mind.

We have that covered...LOL

We then began work on 1s racing motors, and we are doing pretty good there also..

.....but my work is never finished!

Default Stock Update!

MurfDogg Synergy Motors are back in stock in all winds EXCEPT 10.5 turns.

4.0, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 13.5, and 17.5 turn motors are in stock and ready to ship!

Get them while you can, they are selling quick! Although the next batch is only a few weeks away, so we should not have any extended periods of time with motors out of stock.

Outdoor season is over and with most racers moving indoors for the winter, we are selling alot of single cell motors for 12th scale cars and WGT cars.

We make single cell 10.5, 13.5 and 17.5 motors, so we have a motor for EVERY application!

Thanks!

Matt Murphy

Thumbs up

Hey Matt,

Great news...I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my 17.5 (as I said before, Derek Lewis is taking care of the order) and putting my B4 on the track ASAP!

BTW...what is a 1 cell motor...is it just a motor designed to run on a single cell lipo battery? Something for street or carpet? That terminology is new to me...maybe because it doesn't apply to offroad (dirt)...but then you never know if you don't ask, right!?
