Got my latest shippment in the mail yesterday. With indoor season starting to get into full swing in the Midwest...it's a good time to get ahead of the competition with my Murfdogg Synergy motors!!!

Tonight I'll be testing my 17.5 EDM at Tea's Raceway...working on set-up & gearing with the new Tekin V212 software...getting ready for a two-day show this weekend between Tea's Raceway on Saturday and then onto Brink's Speedway on Sunday for the 4th annual Spooker 99!!! Should be a good test for my Synergy powered cars...from the fast 150' runline with sweeping turns at Tea's...to the tight 110' bullring known as the Pig Barn!!!

Questions??

Hey Matt...

Any news on the 17.5's yet? I've got one on order through Derek Lewis (full price of course)...I believe he talked to you about me and you had said that they were out of stock (a statement confirmed on the previous page in this thread) but that you were expecting a shipment this week?

Looking forward to getting my B4 running in STYLE with a brand new Synergy motor!

Matt,
First outing with the 13.5 Synergy Motor resulted in A-Main Win in the 13.5
4WD Class!!! Also raced in the 4WD Mod class (2 heats worth) and finnished a strong 4th with the 13.5 Synergy Motor!!!
Thanks for the fantastic winning power plant!

Hey Matt (anyone else feel free to chime in).....
Does a 91mm rollout sound normal with spec 13.5 1/12th? That's where I ended up last night and the was just barely above lukewarm (125*). With Tekin throttle profile #4 and 8* of endbell timing, the low-end rip felt smooth but still seemed to be lacking overall speed compared to others Tekin's, Duo1's & X12's. Should I be throwing (more) teeth at it
Any suggestions? ........

Hey buddy, yep...had that in the endbell at first. Opted to try less endbell timing with throwing a couple more teeth at it. Final rollout of the night was 91mm.

I race off-road but I had kind of the same issue with zero timing on the speedo. Keep adding gear until you are at that 140 mark. Maybe even take the timing down to 5. I ended going up 5 teeth to get to the temp right and was able to make jump combos that improved my lap times by a bunch.

Anywhere from 82-88mm. To me honestly...I look at that but it doesn't weigh heavily on my decision to throw more or less teeth at the car. My 'feel' on the track and my laptimes are. No one else is running a Murfdogg 1s 13.5 motor. I'm running with Tekin's, Duo 1's & 2's, and X12's.

Questions??

Okay y'all are confusing the heck out of me with the way you are talking about ROLLOUT. I really want to understand it but I'm a newbie to this hobby. So I did some checking and the definition that I found was -

Rollout is the ratio of how many revolutions of the motor causes the tires to move one inch.

The ratios are 2.5:1 or other things like that. So what then are you guys measuring to get what you are calling "rollout" and how are you measuring it?

HELP!!!
