haha, not much to report about.

the 4t mod motor is a beast! spools so fast and has major top end!

I made both a mains starting 10th. in 17.5NR expert TC and Expert Mod tc.
i DNS 17.5 because used parts from that car to fix my Modtc. DNF mod tc because broke an arm about half way through the race.

I had a blast. and the speedzone motors and packs were on point!

Well I just ran the 17.5 with the ht rotor and all I have to say is wow temps were 40 degrees colder with tje same gearing and had the same punch as my reedy 17.5 witch came off the track at 120 130 after a 6min main in a b5 rm car.
A+++ quality motor u made a fan out of me ur prodocts are great and just to know u are local to ny is a bonus

Great news. I've felt this way for a while and I'm glad others are having the same experience.

Spec ht 12.5 rotor maxed timing on the end bell
Had the timing stock ran about 5 minuts with 69 32 gearing and was about 105 ish to the touch I got good at judging it and when I put timing and a fresh pack it felt colder than with no timing

AWD, do you suggest the HT rotor motor in 17.5 tc?. i ran my d3.5 it wasnt lacking any power or anything but once i had good speed down the straight like everyone else i didnt have the get up and go out of corners.

im planning on buying a couple of the 17.5s to finish off the motor list

Not directed at me but.
I always go for the high torque rotor in any blinky or non modified racing. They do have a noticeable increase in punch out of the corners.

thanks for the input, was just asking in general.

ill pick up the HT17.5 as well as the normal for back to back testing myself.

i only run 17.5NR as a 2nd class when there are a lot of races. cuts down the down time.

More sucess with my 4S pack 2nd place finish at the International Race in Zeleni Dol, there was plenty of power for the very long straight with the Speedzone 6500 mAh 4S pack

Race report from 6-28-14:

Raced 4wd buggy and stadium truck.
4wd:
I set tq in round 1 with a great run. I reset tq in round 2 with an even faster run
The speedzone 7.5 and saddle pack has been so consistant with power i really love this combo!!

Started from the 1 spot in the main and ended up snaping a shock mount screw with about 2mins left i finished 2nd. And im sitting 1st over all in points right now for the series.

St:
Had a great first round and set tq. In round 2 i was on pace to reset tq but ran into lap traffic and dropped off.

Amain. From the start i led the race from green to checkered. I also didnt know the car had a broken front shock tower but i was able to run it but i was affriad to push the car. Im sitting 2nd overall in points right now
