Had a decent night of racing. Wish I could've done better but we can't win them all.

Stock buggy TQ'd won
Super Stock TQ'd 3rd
Slash Qualified 2nd finished 2nd
Stk Stadium TQ'd couldn't get it to handle good at all, so I pulled off. Had several people needing my help with their set ups and wasn't able to get mine done but that's ok, I like helping other people and watching them do good.

The new layout for the Venom race is challenging. The new battery definitely did very good.

Had a good night of racing with one mess up.

Stock buggy TQ'd won
Super Stock TQ'd 2nd
Slash TQ'd won
Stadium Truck TQ'd last place. At the first big jump someone hit me in mid air and when I crashed the power shut off.

The guy that beat me in Super Stock is the guy that won the SpeedZone shorty lipo pack. It's his first win in over a year. He was excited. He loves the battery.

Exclamation Snowbirds 2013 Update - Speedzone's Adams TQ's in TC 17.5

Speedzone did well at the 2013 Snowbirds. We had two drivers in attendance and both drivers(Chris Adams and Sal Amato) made the A-Main in TC 17.5.

Chris Adams not only made the A, but he set fast lap by a tenth, set TQ in the forth round and was the only driver in TC 17.5 to turn in a 28 lap run! Starting from the pole, Chris got off to a great start but the car bobbled on lap 2 relegating him back to fourth. On a mission, Chris set fast lap, reeled in 2nd and third, and passed them to move into the second spot. Chris would finish in second, a mere 8 tenths of a second behind the leader.

In TC 17.5, Chris used Speedzone's 7200 80C Peerless Series Lipo to TQ, be the only driver to run 28 laps, only driver to pull a 10.7 all week and only driver to pull a 10.8 in the A-Main. A true testament to Speedzone's Peerless line of products.

Congrats Chris on the TQ and a strong second place finish! Awesome job!!!

Default Updates

  • Most packs are back in-stock. If you need any for the ROAR Nationals, please get them now. Motorama already reduced our current stock!

  • We have a new 30C pack at a lower price point for most applications.

  • We are debating on the re-release of our 1S saddle pack. Stay tuned!

We had our annual asphalt challenge this weekend, two day event with two quals on Sat and one final qual and mains on Sun and over 200 entries. I had other commitments and was only able to run the first qualifier and the mains. but managed to shake off some rust and put all three on my entries in the B mains. As allways my speedzone batts were in top form even after sitting for afew months, thanks Speedzone!
