BTW Gavin, do you have a projected date for new brushless motors? I need some new 17.5's.
What new Brushless motors?

The website shows sold out on the D3 17.5 and 13.5 motors, just wondering when you think those will be back in stock. I have to say the performance of my new peerless pack was awesome. We're running 17.5 blinky and the extra capacity means you can run on at the top of the charge for most of the run, great power from this pack.

I have one of the 6000 mAH 75c Peerless series lipos, I have two of these but this is the first one I bought. I've had it maybe four months, I've always balance charged the pack at 6 amps. Last Wednesday when charging the pack it would never peak, it just kept flopping back and fourth between 8.39 and 8.40 amps. It did this for almost an hour. Im using a Protein RC Prodigy Duo 620 charger. The pack looks fine, no puffing and it remains cool through the entire charging process.

Should I assume this pack in on it's way out?

Send us an email(sales@speedzoneUSA.com) and we will be glad to help you out with this. But do not keep the pack stored at that high voltage.

Will do.

I normally don't store packs at high voltage. If they are going to be stored for more than a week I run them through storage mode on my charger.

Ran 1/12th this weekend for the first time in awhile, my new 1S 7000mAh 80C pack was awesome! Great power in 17.5 blinky, had some issues with finding the sweetspot on a new motor so I bQ'ed and won the B-main. As soon as I can get the motor figured out I'll be at the top with speedzone power .

Nice Chris! One thing for sure; you will not be short on battery power or runtime!!!

I cycled a new 1s and I gotta say its high IR (3.0) scares me. Don't know if this is what all of the packs look like... but other brands can get as low as 1.7 - 2.0 IR. The number of seconds over 4v was very low too. Thoughts?

This is why I hate to post numbers. If your motive is to come on this thread and post numbers that are completely wrong then so be it, but that is not what your pack should cycle at on a GFX.

I personally can always research a particular pack.

In your case, IR was 1.9 on a back to back cycle, no heating, normal room temperature. If you want to discuss all the numbers, feel free to email. Otherwise, please post factual numbers. I would have expected better of you Mike.

Gavin

This was a discharge from receipt, charge, discharge all in one step. Same method done for every brand ive ever had. As you are surprised... I am too.

Mike
