More results on saturday if theres a class! -Randy Banks

Yesterday we had our 2nd Anuual Taylor Park Shootout in Yukon, Oklahoma. I figure we had somewhere between 80-100 entires between a mix of 10th electric short course, e8th, and nitro classes. I ran etruggy and ebuggy. The weekend started out with frying my rx8 in the buggy on pit lane during practice. It went up so fast and melted all the wires off the esc and plugs off my sz 5800's. I put in my spare esc that night and put new plugs on the packs. Their balance was only 1/100th of a volt off. The next day I used them to tq round 1 of ebuggy, and then used my 5300 saddle packs to run 3rd in q2. I had a good battle for third in the 10 minute main and came out 4th running the same packs. The top 5 cars were all on the same lap. In etruggy I swept qualifying for the tq. In the 10 minute main I again used my 5800's that were involved in the esc fire the day before. They worked flawlessly with the 2250kv I am running in truggy. I had a great battle for the first half of the main for 1rst. I was able to make the pass and make it stick and pulled out to a 20 second lead to win the main. After talking with some other racers they are looking forward to trying some 4s speedzone packs when they are available. As am I. I need about 5800 4s for the truggy so I can open it up lol.

It is hard to see but I had some speedzone decals made locally in time for this race. So, they are on the wings of my cars.

Thanks Billy...good stuff. That thing looks like it was flying down the straight, making those Speedzone Decals a blur!
