Dave Johnson wins the 2011 USVTA Southern Nationals with Speedzone Lipos
Dave Johnson used Speedzone Lipos to TQ and win both the VTA and 17.5 TC classes. After triple A-mains, Johnson would emerge the winner and 2011 USVTA National Champion. He also went on to take the win in 17.5 TC. The USVTA win gives Speedzone its second Nationals Title this year!

We had our points finale for the Oklahoma Nitro Club at Taylor Park Raceway last night. We started points racing in March with one race a month, 3 throwouts and double points on the final night. I finished the season 3rd in Ebuggy. We also started running etruggy part of the way through the season. I won the finale and set first in points for etruggy.
Oct 15th is the 2nd Annual TPR Shootout. We are expecting to possible beat our 100 entries we had for the final of the Stateline Showdown.
I will add some pics to my post when they are available.

2011 Fall kickoff race at Dirt Heaven hobby and raceway
Hello Gavin, just wanted to report from the 2011 Fall kickoff race at Dirt Heaven hobby and raceway, first it was a great day of racing and hanging out with friends. I took 3rd place in the Amain in mod truck and 5th place in the Bmain in Mod buggy, thanks again for the power.

Another win for Speedzone USA here in Upper California.
the 2011 Race for a cure with the Relay for life was hosted by my local track
with 148 entries 16 hours at the track i was there at 5am left a little after 12am sunday morning!
I won 17.5NR sct. using my 5700 50c pack!
i might switch to the shorty pack for next year!

Gavin- Qualified 5th in the B-main in 2wd open buggy at The Race For A Cure event in Modesto, Ca. Unfortunately I couldn't run my main as the race program ran too long
