They are coming! There were a copuple of case issues with the production models aqnd a couple of things had to be modified in the production process. So there was a slight delay. But everyone is back on track.

Rick- What can you tell us about performance of the new Reedy 27T Stockstar? Performance vs. other current ROAR legal 27T motors and 17.5 brushless, preferred brush configuration, etc. for 4 cell pan applications.

Thanks!

The brush is unique, and there is only one compound available which is similar to the #766 and is a great compound for this motor. In 1/12, rollout should be around 1.75".

We feel the motor is as good as any stock motors available. Unfortunately this may be too little too late with BL now legal. Against a 17.5, the Stockstar should be equal in performance if not better.

I think brushed stock motors may still have a following for a while. The 19T though will die as there will not be a sanctioned class for that motor starting next year!

Rick, has anyone tried tuning with brush cuts or springs? Are different rate springs available?

Rick, another question. Will Reedy have brushes and springs available for sale at the Carpet Nats for racers using the Stockstar?
