Rick with the new roar rules and not being able to add weight to the lipo cells themselves and the reedy 5000 comming into the picture soon, is there any chance to get the lipo case weighted to be equal to the current 4600 cells out now.??

Hoping this could still be a possibility

Just trying to get some for our Australian market but our rules are based also on the ROAR list.

Thanks
We are expecting an early shipment of motors by air so that we can begin the legalization process. These should be here in 10 days. Then the legalization process should take 2 weeks or so. We will announce the approval on our website when completed.

Also what chargers or balancers will you guys be recommending to use with the lipos

The LiPo packs will come with pretty detailed instructions for care and maintenance. And the plan is to post a PDF file of the instruction on the Reedy section of AE website.

We are soon releaseing a charger that is manufactured by the same company that manufacturers the cells. So I beleive that is the best charger. And we will be releasing information once testing of the units is completed. But in all honesty, any LiPo balance charger is suitable as long as it can charge the battery at 1C.

What I meant is that we will have a better option than a weighted battery pack. Brent Thielke, Brandon Melton, and J.R. Mitch will use the 5000 in the Outlaw class at the Snowbirds next week. Brent and Brandon will be using our prototype ballast.

Default 10 scale pan car

Rick
What are your thoughts on 10th scale pan car? Im getting too old to spend all my time on dialing in a touring car so to me this would be ideal.....
Remember when we ran them at the Ranch. I loved that car...It was a Lucas Garneau creation. The AGITATOR!
You think this will be a viable class and will it help revive on road at all?
Any updates to the 10L maybe?
Any thing in the works for Reedy for this class?

I have spoken to the guys and it is going very well. Brent has had some problems so has had little track time with the LiPo and ballast. J.R. Mitch is using his own ballast setup but with the 5000 pro battery he is second after today's single timed practice round. His fastest lap is .2 seconds faster than the next single fastest lap.

I think you will see some new innovations shortly. Pan car is definitely less expensive to maintain and runs faster with less power than a TC. I can definitely see pan cars as the future of on-road racing.

Brushed motors are in the house! We air freighted a few in so that they can be ROAR approved and sent to the media. We will be shipping them to customers int he next 2-3 weeks.
