Im currently maxed out (physically) with a 13.5 at 34/78 and i still have room to gear up, but i just cant. A 17.5 would require some crazy pinion/spur combos in 2wd....

thanks.
I don't know what is in the works. But I will pass your post on to our engineering department.

I am not sure. Both of the TC experts who would know are out of the office until Tuesday. If you send me an email to rick@aeteam.net I can forward it to them so they can reply with the correct FDR.

It is in the works but we are fiding it difficult because unlike the stick style, all cars are different to some extent. So we are trying to find the size and configuration that works with most vehicles. There is a lot of testing involved.

You will probably see a standard soft version first (look for info in the next week or so) followed by a hard case version.

Hey Rick
I had the best time this weekend running my 12L in stock at the promatch race here in Phoenix. It brings back all kinds of memories with you and I when 12th scale was the only thing to run out in Socal....
Im going to put a Sphere07 with a 17.5 in my 12L. What profile on the speedo will work best with that Motor? And you think a 50/88 pinion spur is a good starting point for gearing?

Thanks in advance see you in July
Jake

Hi Rick,

Are the endbells on the Challenger motors available as a spare part, someone hit me side on and it cracked nearly all the way around from the impact.

Hey Rick,

When is a hard cased version of the Reedy Lipo saddle pack going to be released? Also, will it be ROAR legal upon release or are we going to have to wait some time before it receives approval?

Thanks for you help, I'm looking forward to trying one of these packs out.

The plan is to have the saddle packs out before the ROAR off-road Nationals in August. They should be ROAR approved at their release or just after.

Hey Rick, I remember seeing something about a bolt on type weight that you were using at one of the races. is this something that was still going to be put out by reedy/ae?

Thanks!
