I was playing with friends yesterday
For about minutes only

Its a stock tc4 with mm7700 combo
This morning when I wanted to play
It didn't want to run just sitting there a dead duck stuttering.
I figured battery might be drained
Put a freshly new battery its the same thing.
So I figured its my fm radio but its fine what do you think is wrong with it?

Any thing to look for?

I'm begining to think my mm7700 is aint all that

Please guys help

Thanx

I just called castle creations
And they said to cut the wires from the esc? And solder the wires from the motor to the esc. And I should be fine

What I forgot to ask them is

If I do this will it affect my warranty?

Any body done this to their mm7700?
Did it work for you?

Default 7700

Hi all
I received my 7700 package 3 weeks ago and so far i have smoked 4 diffs I wanted "O my gosh" and that is what I got, I love it.
I read some where not to use the on/off switch to turn the thing on or off, is this true or false ????
Also can I make my 7700 run more like a 10 turn ???? At least till I get more diffs for my Cyclone TC. I have it at 110-25 with a 2.4 car and rubber tires.
Thank you
Russ

Thanx ultegrasti

So all I have to do is unsolder the wires from my esc.

Cut off the banana connectors from the motor wires and solder that wires directly into my esc?

Did I get it right?

Thanx guys for helping someone like me

Know nothing about electric

Yep, just cut'em off and re-solder them. I haven't had any lag or stuttering since I cut mine.

Lazer...best bet to slow it down is undergear it, and use a punch conrol...start off around 40% and 4 teeth down.

Thank you for the come back, I'll do the punch control at 40% and I'm going to try 7v cut off also. 110-25 is 4 teeth down from where I was, that is as low as I can go on my HPI TC.
Thank you again

Don't try to use the lipo cutoff as a power limiter, that will cuase you major headaches....good luck!

Hi joe ford

Do you work for castle creations?

If you are could you please help me with some answers
In regards to mm7700?

I have a tc4 with mm7700
I doesn't wanna move luike stuttering
Or can't decide wether to go forward of back

I called castle and told me to cut off wires from esc cut off banana connectors
And solder the motors wires directly in to esc.

What I'm trying to find out is

IF ILL DO THIS WILL IT AFFECT MY WARRANTY.

Also I have a friend who also have a mm7700 the pinion gear break off from the motor. And its only a month old yet

Will it be covered by the warranty

Thanx

If they are telling you to cut the wires off the speedo, then I would assume that it would still be honored under the warranty. But assuming things will get you in trouble.

Yes, Joe works for Castle. New version of tech and he has not updated his signature.

If he told you to cut off the connectors and direct solder then no it should not void your warranty.

As for the shaft breaking yes that should be under warranty as well.

Call Joe direct at 913-390-6939 Ext 119

Later,
