Hey all. I just wanted to ditto what Banzai Mom has already said We put some in the shows and some came up a little short, but we'll get 'em
next time!

First off, a big Shout Out to Ryan Dunford and Fez for helping me out all weekend Also to our friend Casper for dropping everything and wrenching on Trevor's Losi and to Todd Hodge for set up tips for Guzman's buggy

Zack: Nice job in 2wd Bud. Everytime you come out, you're faster We'll get that truck dialed in for the Reedy

Mike Guzman: Not too shabby. 1st big race and you put it in the show. Not too many people can say that.

Sean: Thanks for hangin in there and nice job this weekend Your soldering skills are great too

Trevor: I'm glad you had fun and thanks for not giving up

Louis Flood, whatever needed to be done, Louis did it, no questions
asked! Thanks!

Dave Barber, thanks for helping me keep the "Old Dudes" honest!

Thanks to all
Scott

I must have written these results down 10 times, kept getting
messed up with the Mains results!!!!!

Super Stock 13.5 Truck

2nd Ryan Dunford

Super Stock 13.5 Buggy

3rd Jeremy Felles

Stock Buggy

7th Zack Rogers
8th Mike Katz
9th Michael Guzman

40+ My favorite Old Dudes!

5th Dave Barber
6th Scott White

Rookie Stock

4th Sean Silva
5th Jeremy Flint

I watched the times all week-end, and we had some very
fast times. Most races were just seconds apart, some
hundreths of a second!!!!!! We had some in the B's and with
just a tiny bit of luck, would have made the A's.
If I missed someone, please post!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all of you! A lot of hard work and unbearable heat,
but the experience is "priceless" !

Your brushed stock motors were awesome all weekend long! I had a blast this past weekend. It was especially enjoyable becasue my parents were able to come down this weekend and watch the races.

Congrats to all the team drivers on banzai this past weekend... You guys are really fast....

Look forward to seeing you guys in Camarillo....

Sincerely,

Jeremy Flint

ARCORR Race 3 is this weekend. It looks like my sis and I will be making the 5 hour trip over Saturday for the Saturday night race. It sure will be nice to have someone to help keep the 3 classes straight.

I have been at 5.77 in 13.5 in a 2wd and real close to 5.00 with a 17.5

That means with a kyosho 76 spur you will need to be at a 34 pinion. That won't fit!

There are a couple options you have for 13.5. You can run a AE 72 with there slipper pads but Kyosho plates. For 13.5 you would be 32/72 which will fit on the car.

What I did was I bought a kyosho 68 spur for the ready to run TC car. I then trimmed down soem kyosho slipper pads and glued them to the gear. You will also need a 3/16 X 3/8 bearing for this as well. This will get you a small enough spur to run 13.5 and 17.5.

With the 68:

13.5: 30/68
17.5: 34/68

The last option you have is to elminate the slipper. I only recommend this for 17.5. You can get an onroad spur adapter called the "turbo hub" at www.speedtechrc.com. (mom if you guys still have any let him know).

With this they sell a 65T Xenon spur gear that works really well for running 17.5. I know this seems like a lot of work but it is needed to get the most out of these motors in buggies. Trucks with there bigger tires are easier to gear properly. I know manufatures are looking at this problem for future buggy trannies.

Losi is one of the easier buggies to gear for 17.5 and 13.5 since they have a 2.43:1 tranny vs. the 2.6:1 that AE and Kyosho have.
