Definition of a sandbagger- A driver that has had success in the highest levels of competition dropping down a class to continue his/her winning ways.
Definition of Zack Rogers- A driver whom kneels before his extreme r/c magazine fold out of an Acer Bearings model while he prays that he can make the top 10 in a 17.5 class.
I can't believe you pulled out the "run away from your problems" quote. Why is it always the kids that have never had a problem in their lives (aside from tacky full size truck syndrome) that always like to play that game?

isnt it crazy that being a kid and the biggest problem you have in life is racing an rc car and beating another driver.
i would love to only have those problems now,its like high school you hate it till you get out to the real world then you would love to go back..
i remember when fez was that little kid at mnm..

I remember those days too, those are some of the greatest memories that I have.
Also I just called Zack and we agreed that arguing over the internet isn't good for either of our reputations, so instead we decided to agree on a solution. The deal is that I won't run stock truck at the Shootout (we don't want to accidentally bring any innocent drivers into the mix, and instead we'll have a grudge match at the final round of Zack's Sunday series on July 26th. Nothing says "you struck a nerve" like flying back to California just to put the hurt on a former friend.
See you all in a few weeks.

I remember back to my high school days and I had plenty of wise-ass remarks for older folks, then my football coach told me a one-liner that has always stuck with me. "Never let your mouth write a check your ass can't cash". Why Zacky Poo would choose Banzai's favorite son, Fez, to start writing these checks. Fez has always been a friend to all and always has done his best to help the younger guys understand the nature of the R/C world.
But Zack, just because you ran a series race, doesn't mean to can't show respect to those who have crossed the same bridges that you hope to cross.
I have my money on Fez
On a side note, Alex won his 1st on-road race at OC/RC, but it was against a pretty small list, I saw a sign of confidence that has been missing for quite a few months. Way to go Alex !!

Good job to Alex on his onroad win. I have a sedan again, came across a good deal locally a few months back and decided to snap it up and set on it till winter.T hope to have it together as more than a large matchbox car by the winter. I will most likely be running on carpet a few time just for a change of pace, and for a humbling.

Reason: I went back a few pages lol....
Great job Alex. Glad to hear he is finding some sucess on the on-road side! Finally got the right part to fix my 12th scale. Can't wait to get some laps with it now that the rear shock is properly attached to the car!

Alex did good. He was fast and made minimal errors. IT was a great run!

Charlie, Thanks for all your time and efforts also. So many people have been terlling him the car he has will never win, but I think you have him convinced that he can win. Thanks again.

Thanks Casper, he lost all his confidence in off-road and some people there were not very friendly, so this will go a long way towards some future success, plus he is having fun.

Just think about it. Most the guys telling him that are driver's that are 50% sponsored by OTHER companies. Instead of helping him get faster, the solution is to spend more money???? NOT! And just think, the only other hop up besides the alum shocks is the spool. He beat the other cars using DOGBONES! His gearing is fine now. I think his goal should be running 5 minutes with 100% no errors. He will win more races than he thinks.
BTW, i also won my RCGT class with my Banzai 17.5. Thanx Maah and Scott.
