I don't have any plans tonight but the drive home might be interesting with the fog we have been having!

See you there Scott!

Default newer motor?

Ok guys first I would like to wiah everyone a Happy NewYear!!!!!

I have a two part question .
1st one is ,does Banzi have a motor that is suitable for the Losi desert truck 1/10 scale ? It has a 12 turn motor in it that comes stock and I would love to see something a lil more beffier!!

2nd question is does Banzi have a dual set motor set up for replacement on the Emaxx's or Esavages? The stock motors are the 550 cans and the 540 cans ?
Any help would be great guys and gals .
Thanks
BigBrett

Ha thanks mom...yea Friday night I won 4wd and got second to Hartson(only by six seconds, and I was running a 13.5 although thats all you need on that track) then Sunday I won 4wd(but I got put in the Sp. class cuz Jarosz signed me up in on accident) and got second to Hartson again in 2wd, and Wednesday I won 4wd and a got second in 2wd to Frank Root...but I did beat him in one qualifier only a little over a second but still...we were never more then a straight away apart the whole race it was SICK!!! I had a blast and cant wait to go back.

Great job Zack.

Trainwreck!!!!!-- I am not really sure how hot a motor you can run with that speedo. Those close endbell 12T motor are not all that fast. Banzai can wind you a motor that will go faster but first we need to determine how much motor the speedo will allow. I will ask a friend and see what I can find out for you but Banzai is a great place to get something that you will like. They can make just about any brushed motor to you specs! I should get an answer on the ESC motor limit on Monday so I will get you an answer then.

As far as the Emaxxes. Banzai does not have anything in the 550 sizes but you can run dual 540 modifieds. I have seen that done before in these cars.

Hey Casper thanks for checking on that for us !!
I would love to get on the Banzai Team the thing is we do a different style of racing alltogether . What you see at monster jam is how we race . It is just like a mod drag race usally no more than 30 seconds is the time on the racing . We have freestyle and that last like min and half . Then we have my favorite which is Pulling .
We are getting ready for a New points season which starts the end of this month so Im getting the trucks all squeared away and looking for a lil more speed for my 8yr olds truck who has been on the podium plenty.
Well ill be looking for some info .
Thanks
BigBrett

Trainwreck: Casper is right on those closed endbell motors. They are usually not very fast. A lot of the guys with the Slashes are replacing those 12 turn motors with either a stock CO27 or a 19T and have had good results. As far as a duel set up for an E-Maxx goes, we have wound a lot of motors for those. We are one of the few OEM companies left that wind their own mods. We just have to make sure what your speedo will handle.
