I have been wanting to do that for a little while now but have not found the time!

They usually have the computer setup to record lap times so you can get some useful data if that is what you are looking for.

Yep Still running 5.7 FDR with the 13.5. Waiting to get on a little bigger track to see if I can gear up but on the track I have been running on this is more then enough power. Motor is nice and cool still as well.

i have to space my spur gear out from the motor plate to get there , currently runnin 30/76 and coming off track at 100 on motor and 109 on speedo without fan . my 32 wont clear motor screws and get good mesh no matter what direction i put pinion on . but i'll get it.

What car you driving. The new AE 72T spur should get you the gearing. It won't work for the 17.5 ratios I run but it will get you to where I am with the 13.5.

losi i have way figured out how to space it. its the teeth lining up from right to left that is the problem . thats why i have to space the spur gear out from the motor plate im going to us a bearing on top shaft . should give me plenty of clearance and till not drag down the top shaft. with the 32/76 i;ll be at 5.77 . that should be close enough. thanks again .

Yeah the Losi is a little easier to get gear ratio's since the internal is 2.43. The Kyosho and AE cars have to be a little more agressive with the 2.6 trannies. You can use the smaller spur though and move the motor forward.
