Hey All...According to Elita Loresca from NBC weather, it could be a little soggy come Saturday The more we talk about the "R" word, the better chance we have of staying dry. Hope to see a good turnout from the Banzai Nation.

I'm getting everything ready for the JBRL race this week-end!

If you need something, call or email me today. I think most

already have. We will be pitting with Phil and Alex, so if

you get there before us, that's where we'll be if you want

to pit with us. We'd like to have most of the Banzai Nation

together for this last race as many are not racing the Reedy!

See you all there!!!!!!!!!

casper" are u still running 65/32 gearing for 17.5 , and how's it working out. i plan on getting at least one system in two weeks no matter what happens here. tired of getting beat by the 13.5s in stock with my co27. turbo joe says they are staying with them and also the nats will be in omaha neb next year and im planning on going. so i want to be ready with 17.5 for myself and daughter. i will calculate what i need for my losi for gearing my pinions came in and now i have to calculate what i need to get down to the 5.12 that u were running , if u still are . thanks kevin starr

go banzai nation!!!!!!

I was running 33/65 at nats but that was with nimh. I did run some tests with a lipo and I think you can go 34/65 no problem with the lighter car (lipo car is 200g lighter! ) The lighter car puts less strain on the motor which generates less heat so you can gear taller and go faster.

I don't have any experience running a 13.5 but hope to get one soon and start testing those out. I was running in practice this morning with a 13.5 truck against my 19T buggy and he was just as fast down the straight. I have no doubt you are getting beat by 13.5 if you are running stock. That is not a fair fight. A 17.5 geared right will hang with or beat any stock motor in offroad.

The 2008 JBRL is now in the books!! BUT, the announcer did
not give the top 10 finishes yesterday, for the final races, and
I did not get all the spots for over-all places. Ryan James and I
did our best, but couldn't get them all. SO, I'll wait until Casper
posts the complete results before posting them.

We have so many people to thank. I'm sure I'll miss someone,
so I'll just say THANKS to our Team Drivers and customers!
You're all just the very best!
And we appreciate every one of you!

OK, I know that I am "high maintenance", as Scott says, so
from me, a special thanks to all who brought me coffee, drown
me in water, gave me a chair when I forgot, let me "cool-off"
in your motor homes, fed me "snacks", great conversations,
and last but not least, made me laugh!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all!! I'll get all the results up as soon as I get them!

Congrats to our 3 over-all winners, Alex, Matt, and Jake!
