There is no real news on the '08 schedule as of right now. Jimmy has the dates lined up but is working on which tracks will fill those dates. When he gets me the info I will post it up at www.jimmybabcock.com . I do my best to get you the lastest info on the site but as of right now the '07 results are it!

There are a few tweaks added to this year. They are going to a 100 point system due to the outstanding turnout of the gas series. There is serious talk of making the final event a two day event. More qualifying for that final race and a special awards ceremony on Sunday. It is an added cost to the racers but Jimmy is hoping to make it worth your while for sticking it out for a full season! There may be other changes on the way but we will have to see what jimmy thinks. If you want to voice your opinion on possible changes to make the series better chat on this site in the race section or go to www.jimmybabock.com and register for the on-line forum though that site and voice your thoughts on that site!

This stuff takes some time to plan so please be patient. We will spread the word as soon as things get nailed down!

There are about 2 tracks in the JBRL where you can use that kind of motor but it will be fun when you can!

It seems like some magnets will last for ever and some seem to get weaker as time goes on. A friend of mine won two classes at the Cactus Classic a couple of years ago with a two year old can that had never been zapped. He just kept putting different arms in it. And no, I don't believe in zapping magnets.

We zapped cans at the snowbirds one year. We were stupid and did it right next to the TV. It blew up somehow

David, remind me never to sit next to you when

we finally do meet!!

It's rainning pretty good here now. And it's supposed

to be 39 deg. this week-end at night. Doesn't look

good for any racing!

Naaaahhh...we're good for Saturday. It's winter...but it's only supposed to be 47 at 10pm. That's toasty compared to some of the 1am Revelation finishes...LOL

I was cleaning out my email box today, it was over-flowing!

I've never been able to delete Joe Guerzon's emails to us, and

it got me thinking. With the new year coming, we've had some

really low race times this year, some really good race things

happen, and looking forward to next year.

Our worse race related for 2007, The passing away of Joe Guerzon.

The best race related for 2007, TQ and winning 3 Cactus Classic

races.

Hopes for the new year, to help some sportsman drivers move up
and have success in the Expert classes, and bring as many new
and returning racers back to R/C.!!!

How about you guys, best, worst and looking to the New Year!!

Best: having a son, Getting picked up by Kyosho and making all three mains at Cactus!

Worst: missing the mains at Reedy! (I just wanted to make one of the two ) and breaking my new 4wd at the very final race at So Cal!

New year-- Looking forward to another great year of racing and going to my first ROAR Nats. Just hoping the wife does not divorce me!

Casper, you were the 1st person I thought of when we heard
where the Mod Nats were going to be! I told Scott, Casper
will finally get to the Nats!!

I think you have a pretty great and understanding wife!
It may cost you a few extra bucks for shopping for her,
but I don't think she'll divorce you!!
