Any thing going on the first Sat in June? June 2nd to be exact?

Hoping that day will work for our 'last hoorah'?

Lemme know the race dates I need to work around.

Last BIG race at THIS location.
Club stuff will go on for a couple weeks after that, till the new spot is ready.

Hey guys, I was just checking out my new cobalts and noticed there are not any phenolic (I think that's what they're called) washers above the comm. A few posts earlier Casper mentioned something about a big brown washer is there to keep the comm from shorting out on the metal washers. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are they cobalt mods? If so they could maybe have a little black o-ring.

Yeah some of the mod motors use o-rings instead of the phenolic washer.

Sorry, they're stock motors. There is just small gold washers and a silver washers on each end, but no thick washer.

There really is only an issue if the metal washers have an OD large enough to contact the copper comm. Scott may comment more in the morning.

Yeah, that's true, there is no way for it to short out. I just thought it was odd. Thanks for your help Casper. I'm hoping to make the trek down to Pegasus on Saturday. Hope to see you there.

Sorry steve I will be in Palm Desert for the Nitro JBRL. Scott and Judi should be there to answer all your questions on the motor. Bring it by and have them take a look at it. Pegasus is a great track and they are running a wonderful show out there.
