The Cactus Classic is full! If you are interested in a spot,
you can call SRS tomorrow and see what filler spots may
be available.

Judi has been bomb barded with calls on what a Hemi wind is. I guess this has been brought up somewhere and now there's a "Need to Know". There are 3 ways to wind a motor, Crosswrap (Mabuchi), loop, or hemi. All this amounts to is, the way it goes over the tab of the comm. Nothing more.
The crosswrap goes straight across the tab, like on a stock amature.
The hemi goes up and over the tab. This will reverse polarity of the armature (run backwards) so the magnets in a fixed timed motor can have to be reversed. On a mod, you just turn the endbell 180 deg. That's it! It doesn't have anything to do with the web, the way the wire is laid in, or anything else. Electricity doesn't care which way it flows. Big Jim Greenemeyer used to wind that way. I don't go back any farther than that.
A loop wind is just that. At the tab, the wire is looped around the tab. We believe, here at Banzai, this gives us a stronger wind that will be more consistant and will not fly apart. This is how we wind all of our mods. We also weld and do not solder.
I hope this clears a few things up.

Yes, you've seen it Casper!
The original Trinity C-19's were hemis. The C2's were NOT.
