Just tried to go to the Diggity Designs website and it seems to be out-of-order. Anyone heard anything?

I went to the track for there first practice day today on carpet and decided to dust the Cobb webs off of the dc4 le for opening a case of whoop ass on everyone else running 17.5. The car drove extremely well today. I will post a setup in the next couple of days but the big thing is I did a little machining on my mill to the lower chassis to narrow it 18mm and drilled and slotted for the use of a shorty pack. Using a shorty pack brought the race ready weight down to 1309g so now weight can be added to get the balance where you want it without the worry of being quite a but over weight. Here are some pics.

On another note if anyone would like the same thing done to there dc4 le chassis' please p.m. me I would be happy to do it but we can go over details via p.m.

Jeff,
Could you share a setup sheet for your 17.5 DC4LE?

Taking notes here..... I did remember suggesting skimming down the chassis a while back.... Good to see positive results !!!!
If you were using a Protoform lightweight(90gram) body, give the (60gram)blitz gsf 0.5mm body a try, with a thunderpower shorty pack, and a gforce supercapacitor...
Your lap times will fall.....

Jeff,I understand the shorty pack thing.......What was your reason for narrowing the chassis 18MM and not moving anything to the centerline of the car.....Just asking.....Doug

Well actually everything is as close as you can really get towards center line . The main reason was to give the chassis more clearance for when the chassis rolls. It doesn't rub on the carpet anymore giving more cornerspeed and also adds a slight bit more flex.

The protoform lightweight speed 6 is what i am using and is a proven body for sure. But i will look at the blitz body but it will be hard to change to it as the history of the speed 6 has been dominant. I like the handling too much and am used to it. But thanks for the suggestion.

Are you planning to upgrade the Nanotech shorty pack ???
From the pictures, I can tell you don't have an aluminum screw set installed, and I suspect the bearing shields were not removed, the driveshaft is not CF,etc..... That car can go way faster cheap...just sayin....
Ps: Putting the tc4 on the podium is all I care about ! BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Aside from, of course, doing it yourself.
