Default GV2 carbon shocktower strength

Well i have been running the CF towers and steering rack for the GV2 since Diggity has had them available. Over the last year I have been hammering them with no problems. The last two weeks the front 4mm tower really showed how strong it was when I took a direct hit from an 1/8th electric buggy that jumped into the wrong lane of the track and ripped the bulkhead off my car...........shocktower took a heavy hit but didn't break,

Today onc again I hit an1/8th scale that decided he should park in the middle of the straight, didn't say a damn thing and adjust his radio. Well I hit him full throttle and again the tower took a major shot just like clock work and didn't phase it. Sorry to say my Diggity steering rack didn't fair but hell it wasn't the parts fault.

Anyone looking for some GV2 towers and worry about how strong they are well I have tested the strength of them for over a year with no problems. They have performed above and beyond what they should have taken.

Default NEW B44 "Super Flexy" Front and Rear Upper Decks

Hey all, sorry for not posting lately. Its been a long cold winter and Ive spent allot of time with the family. Cant wait to hit the dirt this summer.

Diggity Designs has just released their new B44 "Super Flexy" Front and Rear Upper Decks. Allows for more chassis twist for more traction on low bite, rough, bumpy and rutted out tracks. Works well on most any track to improve lap times. They help smooth the buggy out on bumps and switch backs. We tested these upper decks last fall at the ROAR region 5 regionals and they worked awesome. More info on the website. Here are a couple pics.

damon, just ordered the tc5 lipo tray revision 2 to move my battery out on chassis. i currently run the standard tray with ppd bottom weight plate and side plate. can i still use the plates or now that the battery is further out will i have to place weight in different locations. i use a speedzone 5400 which is about the same weight and size as your lipo. thanx

Question about the "wide" rev. 2 lipo tray for the TC5 do you have to make new counter sink holes in the chassis or does it use the existing ones?

Thanks

The wide tray uses the existing holes.

Just sent Paypal for the TC5 offset lipo battery tray. I already have one of your standard setups and it works great so I look forward to the offset one as I think it will be even better with the weight transfer of my car from side to side.

Thanks
Brian

hey all, just building up the XLR8 v2 kit from my old TC3. The steering turnbuckles seem to be too long ? I've got masses of toe-in even with the steering centred.

Are you using different turnbuckles, or are people simply cutting them down ?
