Hey Max,
Nope, never used inventor. It's parametric right? I use ProE at work and know some solidworks.

I'll run stock or 19T (if there is traction).

James,

Yeah it is...its really kool you can take an object in 3D and it makes all the other veiws for you. You can also make your own work planes in the object. It seems to do every thing for you. I'm getting like 5 drawings done in 1 hour rather than MAYBE 2 when i used autocad.

i think we should change the track layout (its been a long time)

It's funny how autocad always advertises that they are the highest selling design solution. And then you try and find a company in the real world that actually uses AC and it is about impossible. And if they do you politely tell them that you would prefer the drawing in a more usable form..

Then it dawned on me. Schools, only the colleges pony up for the real stuff like Catia, ProE, and SW. But darn near every high school has a few dozen seats of AC.

Bingo!

Mike Slaughter

Edit low and behold! R/C car designs! I'll be darned...

I had a good time this weekend at WMRC.. The 3D12 really handles 19T's well!! Real fast in the corners... I thought my 10.0 lap was hot untill that damn Yankey pulled a 9.8!! ... I cant wait to try out some 4 wheel drive Dirt

You pulled a 9.86 during the main, if I'm not mistaken. I heard Matt call it.
