Is there a Darkside thread somewhere? I can post it there or maybe I should just start a new thread?

Mick,

There is a Darkside thread here on RCTech. I'll PM the last page to you. I would normally use my Killer Korrally ( C10X with a T-Bar rear pod, looks a lot like the new 10X) but would be interested in making the I-Fource a wide car and put either PewJoe medium or high down force on it.

Default PHI options

Hi T and P Bang,

Is the 2.4mm chassis the one used for asphalt tracks?

Are there other spring options aside from the kit blacks and optional silvers?

Thanks,
Roy

Hi, Roy!

Sorry for the delay in the reply. Crazy busy here an lots of racing, too!

Yes, the 2.4 mm chassis works well enough. You will also want to remove the centre cross-brace from the rear bulk head, too. For springs, the optional black spring kit is perfect for rubber tires on asphalt or carpet. This is the softer set that you would need. The silvers are for carpet foam generally speaking.

Best of luck.

You bet. Check out the T-Store. I have been trying the difs for the last few weeks now and I believe I have 15 runs or so on it and it's still super smooth. easy to break in and maintain!

I don't see why not, JD, since I was running an RDX Diff in my PHI!

I may have the incorrect price listed for the diffs. I will be sure to check it out later tonight.

Hey Guys,

Some results from the Land down under from the weekend where the Victorian State titles were held at the Mildura track.

The track was awesome with some challenging sections and a surface which blue grooved up and offered excellent traction.

In four wheel drive stock the day started off well when I won concourse and then go on to qualify in third position and end up finishing in third place driving the Type C in a B44 and Chris Esteve finishing in 4th position using the Type M in a B44. In two wheel drive I qualified in 3rd position and ended up finishing in 5th position using the Type E motor.

There was no shortage of speed from any of the motor types and showed that the three types of 27 turn motors can offer great performance in off-road.

I'd just like to thank T-bang for their contribution to this weekend's race in Ottawa. A local racer passed away a few months ago and we decided to hold a memorial race. Thanks to T-Bang and other companies that donated, we were able to get just under $1000 which will go towards an education fund for the children.

I'll also thank you for your help in getting my SP12X to me and your help with set up advice. For anyone interested, you won't find better customer service than at T-Bang.

Thanks for your kind words, Rob. Glad to hear that the race was a success. We've had three racers pass away here locally in the last three years as well, so, our thoughts are with your club, too.
