Right on dude. CNN was saying that loaves of bread are going to cost $2 million dollars or something this summer, so I hope you guys get a piece of the action on that.

Batts - Yep. The quality issue was the tipping point. If the final batches of NiMH's last year hadn't had all kinds of weird quality issues the battery waters would be as murky as the motors. However, given the way it was all handled by the matchers and manufacturer's, the LiPo movement got all the ammunition it needed to earn a mass market shift.

As far as chargers go - the other good news is that there are fantastic LiPo chargers on the market in the sub $150 range @ retail which is actually more reasonable than the equivalent high-end NiMH chargers. We've been stocking the ThunderPower 610 which is tiny, has a built-in balancer, and can charge 2C+ on most packs. They go for about $130 - and sell out as fast as we can bring 'em in. It's definitely a time of change!

Lifespan-wise, I still have LiPo packs that were given to me by TrakPower almost 2 years ago for performance testing. They charge to full capacity and I can't tell the difference between them and my newer packs on the track.....

Sweet ride James.

I just got mine put together as well..... hitting Driven to Perform here this weekend. It's a big car show where they set up a carpet track. Should be lots of fun. Haven't pulled the trigger in almost 4 months!

Hey, BigDaddy.

So how did the Type M work out on carpet for you? What was your FDR?

Two words - bad ass.

I don't think there were any cars with more power than I was running out there including the 17.5 guys. As usual, the driver was a bit suspect, but I did hang on to finish in 4th which wasn't too shabby for a guy that hasn't pulled the trigger since November sometime!

FDR on rubber tire was 6.5 for me using the 4499's (which I ran with in the main). I found dropping a tooth when I was running F-brushes kept things about the same. The 4499 makes notably more torque, and the F is good for another 1K RPM or so.

Great top end, and very strong out of the corners. Seemed like I could reel in most cars much faster than I was used to in stock.

I got to try out the Type M at the track in the drift class.

Like I told trent, this thing is insanely powerful. Lots of torque off the starting line and I can break traction through a corner easily. After a run, it was mostly warm to the touch.

They must have made a deal with the devil when they spawned this weapon. I'll slap in some bearings and some XXX brushes to see how far this motor can really go.

BTW trent.. any word on that motor I handed to you?

Hi JD,

I am just finishing up a production run of 19T's and then I'll take a look at your motor and the others I picked up for re-tunes at the track. Should be this weekend if all goes as planned.

Default Brushless Production Runs

Hey Gang!

Finally - some news on the brushless front. As some of you know we did an initial batch of BL motors a couple months back. They sold out within a few days, and then we've been BO'ed since then!

Good news on the horizon..... The shipment left for us this week and we will have them in hand early next week. They'll be tuned up and on the site ASAP after that.

If you've been waiting patiently - we very much appreciate it, and are looking forward to having these ready to roll. We'll have 17.5, 13.5, 10.5, 7.5, 5.5, 4.5, and 3.5's all ready to rip!

Hi Paz,

Unfortunately, we don't have any active dealers over in the UK right now. We are happy to ship overseas via the T-Store however, and frequently ship orders to the UK!

Best regards,
