Default The Blurs!

Sorry guys, I just didn't have time last night to get these posted, but without further ado, here is my Blur Buildup Experience:

The cars showed up last Sunday, yes I said Sunday, I love holiday shipping, seems the mail system goes into overdrive, anyway:

Kits are beautifully packaged. Love the black boxes, enforces the "Dark" in "Darkside"

Truly the most beautiful carbon fibre I have ever seen:

As you can see, I opted for the old school Associated style front end option. In my mind, still the best front end on the market. No gimmicks, just solid components that are easy to find and replace…IMO…

These cars are SO configurable, so many options for battery placement. It should make dialing these cars in on any surface a breeze…

The Blur~10 is ready to rumble and I'll be shaking it down this evening. Wish me luck!

Any questions, just ask!

Mick

Mick,

Glad you made the upgrade on both cars. As we have talked great improvement in design and Eric's thought have been well machined.

Let us know how the shake down run goes.

Hey Eric,

Very sorry for not getting back to you sooner, work has had me waaay too busy since the holidays.

I've only had a chance to run the Blur10 and that was only for about 10 minutes of track time. In that time the car felt really good, just a little on-power push, but after talking to Mark he gave me some setup advice. I have them both ready to go and will be spending all weekend running them at our big indoor race where traction will be crazy by the end of Sunday. I'll report back with my findings and results, wish me luck!

Snowbirds 2011

One more day of racing - mains for on road and Darkside has made a good showing. Mark Burt has put his Blur 1/10 into 9th in the a-main. John Phelps was gridded 2nd in the B-main but contact removed him on the send lap.

No 1/12 scale cars in the A, but doing ok in the C-main.

Will need to watch Sunday to see how Mark does in the main.

Man, I wish I was there again this year. Maybe next ........

Here is my car from the Birds, definitely had the horsepower just the car didn't carve the corner, it was super tight but super easy to drive.

Hey Mark, are you running the car at all still? I have some setup stuff that I would like you to try if you have a chance.

I ran mine for the first time this last weekend. I like it a lot. It looks like I'm running the battery in a little different place than most.
