Raced the Mx2 this weekend at the indoor asphalt track. Qualified 2nd and took the win. It was a heated battle for 6 minutes till I was able to take the lead and the win. Mx2 and eXpress Power is a awesome combo.

Yes, I'm working on the Target based paint!

As to the 12 hours, they had a dreadful day when they had 8 or 9 heats which was about 50 entries and 30-35 racers. Only got 2 rounds of qualifying in do to computer / software issues. I did not run, but stopped by a few times, Rinkrat packed up at 4:30 when they were shutting down.

I hope they do better next week, As they only have 8 weeks to get is corrected. I'll be going to Greeley on Saturday and check out how there stuff is going. Did you go to Westy??

Mike - nice job!! Let us know when you can on the settings. Darkside is trying to talk me into going to IIC, not sure yet, but if I do, I'll have to run some 1/12 scale this summer that I was not planning on.

Also did you get a chance to look at the set up sheet that I did?

Thanks for any input!!

Our indoor season is finished and the nitro season starts next weekend. I am missing 1/12 racing already and now thinking about 4-cell mod outdoors. How is the MX-2 outdoors?

Need some advice here. The car for me has been working really well in the qualifiers but seems to start losing grip in the rear about halfway through the main. I've noticed this running purple fronts with pink rears and with white rears. Though the White rears by the end of the 2nd qualifier had a significant amount of foam missing due to chunking. Man CRCs are glued crappy. Someone mentioned that blacks have about the same grip as purples but are more consistant in the 1/12th thread and that double pinks have more grip...so I'm thinking maybe black fronts with double pink rears? We're running outdoor asphault with a lot of sugar water sprayed down. Current setup is 24 front springs, stock rear center with 30wt oil, damper tubes with 5000wt, white roll springs in the center holes, 5mm ride height all around, level rear pod.

I would try blue springs on the outer holes, it feel similar but be more consistent. The pink rear is likely the best to go with as it is the more consistent foam family. If you go to a black front it will not build grip like the purple does.
