Scottrik - I heard that some of the out of town entries had been showing up. Hobby Town is putting this on and running it, so I can enjoy the racing!!! Look forward to meeting you.

As to the black band at the chassis "Buldge" I've done it as well. If you would like I can send you my stock set up. Silver chassis car was fast out of the box, and even with a broken chassis - read I did not want to rip the whole front off - car was till good enough to qualify 5th in the A and finished 6th.

I have a new black car that I'm running Wednesday night in 19 turn for its first outing and then off to Omaha for the weekend.

Carpet is what I would call low to mid bite. Only traction compound is Jack the Gripper. You want to set up for 4mm clearance to keep the carpet "Tar" from slowing you down.

Mark

Silver chassis is the older version and the Black is the newer Version Chassis. Thats what Grenade is refering to.

Gernade....this car is so killer in 19 turn...good luck with it there.

I think you will like the black version even better then the silver.

Uh...THAT would be good information to put on the flyer.

Is it "Jack only" or "non-wintergreen"? Most (all?) of us have been using the Niftech. The REAL killer is I sold a 100% new bottle of Jack to someone for $5 a week ago figuring "hell...I never use the stuff..."

Any other "house rules" with which we should be familiar

Mike how about a set up for a medium traction track. The silver car worked really well for me on our home track with is low to med traction.

Thanks in Advance!!

Scotrick - If I gave you all the home court advanteges how can I beat you???

Ok track size is 88 x 45, Roll out Stock 1.65-1.85 based on motor 19 Turn 1.55 - 1.75, Grenade Motors rule 19 turn and most stock classes. Yes I tune and set up motors for the local racers. Anyone needing power, I'll have X-Stock, CO27's and Komodo's available at the track!!

Do not run much under 3.5mm as it just slows down the cars.

FYI Purple / grays do not work for everyone, me included!!

Ok - enough stuff for the Darkside camp inside tips.

Uh...probably just showing up will see you ahead of me

Crap, now I gotta take that fiver the fellow gave me, add three more to it and buy a can of goop I'll only use in Denver. Guess I'll have to get down there more often.

I suggest the setup i used at the Magma race...it was jack the slipper and i'd say mediumish traction. It ran well there so hopefully you will like it.
