You can use one of the extra holes on either side of the battery pack.

Thanks Mike.

I've finally finished building my Mx2. Here's a few pics of the car. I've made some mods...added aluminum insert nuts on the damper cross brace for the tweak screws and on the the pivot plate. Swapped out the side link ball cups for Losi ones and changed the pivot balls to the Losi ball studs.

Nice job. Be careful mounting the servo like that. I've broken the ears off the case with a hit that I thought wasn't that hard.

Eric - you should have asked me about the new front end. I had the Gen-X car and spare front end at Thanksgiving!! Sent the spare front end along with the car to a new owner in January!!

Have the Mx2 ready to roll finally on Sunday. I've been reading the posting as I'm going to run 19 turn with Mike M.

Mark

PS - like my dremmel as well!!

Since Haynes came over to the Diggity thread, I figured Id come over to the Darkside thread. It seems as if these inline battery cars could be the future. I'm looking forward to see what these cars can do in mod at the big events. I know Mike has had a lot of success. Good luck to Both Eric and Damon with there designs, I'm sure this is just the beginning!!!!

It sounds like you guys love your dremels to much. It's nice to avoid it sometimes. I used it enough on this car.

Default Rear Roll Center

Hi Guys,

I have question about the rear roll center. Currently, my rear pod plate and chassis are level with each other. When the shock fully compresses, the front of the read pod (where is mounts to the football) digs into the carpet.

Is anyone raising the rear pod plate so this doesn't happen? Does is affect the rear roll center?

Thanks for the help.

Jeff

The shock will never fully compress while your driving, i run the chasis plates level height wise but you can run the center fo the car a tick higher then the front and back if you have a problem...ex from 3.5, middle 4, back 3.5.
