I had that problem one time with mine and determined it to be a bad brush. Try to skim the com once more just enough to clean it and then a new pair of brushes. That fixed my problems. Hasn't happened since.

I trued it and replaced the brushes and headed out today for a second meeting only to find that the brushes seem to stick in the hoods (particularly the +ve). No amount of cleaning brush hood aligning would fix the problem. In the end I filed the wide side of the brushes to improve the fit. It seemed to do the trick. Another guy who was also running an Axiom KD19 had the same problem - except his did it on the first run!

Have you had any reports of this type of problem? Can you suggest anything else?

No Reports of this issue at all...

Look at the bottome part of the hood, sometimes they are bent a little inward causing the brush to bind.... Only seen this on a select few but a hood alignement tool will fix it....

Or you thow on the ground a couple time and it might work then - j\k :-)

Had some computer problems, but better late then never! on November 18,
and 19 Tacoma r/c Raceway held it's annual North West Gold Cup where some of the best drivers in the region come to race, and Team Axiom didn't disappoint with first place finishes in 2wd mod and 2wd stock also 3rd place finishes in mod truck, stock truck, and 2wd stock. Frank our National title holder beat a Losi factory driver in 2wd mod and in 2wd stock Matt Preston took the TQ and 1st place while Corby Story took 3rd in both 2wd stock and truck stock. Matt and Corby Both were using the Axiom CO27's for their podium finishes in 2wd stock.

Once again Axiom motors looked fast!

Thanks Dave for the superior products!

Here is a picture of our Team drivers at the Gold Cup
From left to right it's Frank Swilley Jr.,Corby Story, and Matt Preston

Went to the Illinois offroad state race at Action Hobby. Top qualified both stock truck and buggy and finished second in both mains using Axiom motors throughout the races. I was using a blueprinted co27 in buggy and a blueprinted p2k2 in truck. Thanks for the great motors.

Jacob

Good runs Jacob.....

FYI: An EpicX with Axiom 4200's won the B-Main in stock truck with a 10 year old at the wheel...
He was going nuts that he knew he had the power to land the table top and do the double after it, but dad wanted him to play it safe.

He did it on the last lap to prove he could....
