Hi, just ordered me a ZZ and an Atlas 19T. For racing on a very wide open asphalt track, with rubber tires. We used to run the Orion Element , with an FDR of 4.5 - 4.8. Should I also gear this low, with he ZZ or Atlas ? Or have you other advice?

I am not up on gearing for onroad, however I am sure one of our Drivers on here can help you out.

Your order will probably ship Tomorrow as I am leaving for a race and trying to get as much out before I leave as possible. Worst case scenerio it will ship by Wed. of next Week

I would gear them a little bit higher than the dynasty/element motor, on a 125x60 outdoor track here with a full length straight-a-way I ran my Axiom Blue can Atlas 19t at 5.90. Your track me be a little more open according to your description but I would start there The dynasty/element motor seems to need more gear than any other motor I have ran.

Default Atlas Blue Can 19T

Hi Octavio

Try starting around 5.2 an come down from there, on very large tracks ( like Halifax in England or Stonehaven in Scotland) you can pull 5.0 - 4.8 without too much trouble & it will be fast.

That truck was running more like a 23 turn than a 27!

Nope not pink - lol - I sent you a Pink one already

I am currently at a day event and will be back in a couple more Days. Currently I am sitting:

Stock Truck - TQ
Mod Truck - 2nd

Ran a EPIC X in 1 Qual and TQ'd the round and ran a CO27 in the last 2 and went about 8 seconds faster and was able to cut tighter lines and clear jumps.

Mod I ran a Checkpoint based 13x2
