Oh ya Doug also TQ'd and won 2WD Mod, so Axiom pretty much swept the Electric classes at one of the biggest events for offroad in the NorthWest.

Axiom is also leading the Northwest Championship Tour in most Electric Classes..

did you Add .015 to the voltage and 65 seconds for per cell to equal what they would be at 30 amps. Or try it again, if there new packs it might need a little wake up. The packs dave has are SOOOOO GOOD trust me I know where thos cells come from brad J one of the best cell machers out there.

Jimbo - I apologize if you are not satisfied with the batteries. I have a couple of questions for you. When you cycled the batteries on the GFX, what peak detect did you use. Also it is very important to use the small sensor wires while charging/discharging. These wires with there small alligator clips cannot touch the larger wires alligator clips. You will get readings that are off the wall. If you are still not satisfied, I will pay for shipping to have you send me those packs so I can test them. If something is wrong with the packs I will personally replace the packs for you. If you have any questions feel free to email me or call me at our shop

Thanks - Brad

Jimbo - Brad J does our matching for us and has offered to remedy this issue and would like to evaluate these cells which as he posted would be no cost to you.

So if you take the 1.201 @30amps and add the .015 to the voltage to convert to a 35 amps discharge you get 1.216 which is even better than the 1.207 @ 35 amps which is marked on the cells.

Anyone else catch that or am I wrong?
Dave that .015 isnt always a great way to convert numbers. Normally 30 amp numbers should look higher then 35 amp numbers. The only thing that I question is how many times the pack was run in a row before it was cycled. If you run a pack then like 2 or 3 hours later try to cycle it your numbers are not going to match up. If the pack was warm or artifically cooled before it was cycled this can lead to crazy numbers.

Jimbo did you use a fan or anything to cool the pack down while charging or after it was run? What did you discharge the pack down to before you cycled it and what discharger did you use? Do you use a tray or any other discharge device before you charge or cycle the pack? Brad stands 100% behind his products and if anything has happened he has said that he will replace them. I have raced for Brad for 3 years now and every pack that I have ever gotten from him cycles out as close as you can expect when the cells are built up in a pack when they are new or a couple months old. Most times when you build up a pack the numbers will not match up 100% because of the battery bars and solder and other factors like heat when they were built or how they were taken care of that factor in to how well a pack cycles up. Jim Baliey who owns and runs competition electronics is a local racer with me and when I asked him once about cycling packs he said that he gets cells from all kinds of matchers and once he builds them as a pack they never match up with the lables 100%. When cells are matched they are done so in a controled setting its hard to have the same results out side of that setting. Im not saying that there isnt anything wrong with your pack there very well might be, but dont cycle out a pack and expect to see the numbers match up 100% if you are with in 10 to 15% of whats on the lable then there isnt anything wrong.
