Just letting you know that we have a new forum now guys!

If your login details do not work from the old forum you will need to re-register.

Existing users of the old forum should still keep their post count, username etc etc, but you will need to re-activate your account, which for me involved also getting a new password. (but this can easily be changed again).

Your password reset email may appear in your spam folder too so look out for it! (It did in mine).

hope that helps

Default 1/8th off road brushless

hey all: I see that tekin will soon release an 1/8th brushless esc so does this mean an 1/8th brushless motor is not to far off? Also do you all think the 1/8brushless buggy class will become a popular off road class on a national level or just be a popular class in certain areas of the usa? Thanks and all the best in the new year to all

Yes we're making 1/8 motors. Spec's are to be released soon.

Yes we also believe that this will be a new class for those that want 1/8 chassis performance without the nitro experience that traditionally went with it.

Hey Randy,

Question I know this is a long shot but in the future is there any chance of making a Hotwire interface and software for the ipod touch and iphone? hint, hint, hint

Default FDR ratio

what final drive ratio would be a good starting point for a Redline 17.5 in a 2WD Buggy(Bk2) on a tight track. Thanks

I know the question wasn't aimed at me, but i'll take a shot at answering it anyway...

Never say never, but I would say it's unlikely. Most people have a PC with windows over an Iphone/ipod touch device, so it's falls into a category of "would be nice to see, but not financially practical" area.

Does anyone have a feel for how the Tekin 632 sensorless compares to the sensored 13.5 in terms of overall power on the track?

I have clearance to sensorless in carpet/rubber sedan and would like to use an old esc I have.
I tried a 5700KV motor and found it a bit much for rubber sedan.

The 632 can be geared to compare like a stock motor. However it can pull a HUGE gear can be as fast as a 13 or 14 turn mod.

Just compare speeds with the guys running the 13.5 and it should be "fair enough."

Default R1 pro + 362

I bought a R1 pro esc + 362 (6200KV) motor combo. It works well, however, I noticed that sometimes, it takes a couple of seconds for the motor to start. What is the pb and how can I improve it?

Do you have the Hotwire interface? If so, is your esc updated to the latest version?

No, I don't have a Hotwire interface. How can I check its version?
