the footprint HPi provides is a miniscule 44mmx33mm. there are about 3 companies that provide escs that can support those dimensions.

and do you make/need heat sinks for the esc?
I don't know which speedo you are looking at but but I'm guessing the FXR. It is not only for crawlers but for any car out there. As for a heat sink, no. Where you solder the wires to the speedo is the heat sink.

Default 410K

I have a brand new 410K left over from my earlier race days. I am now looking at firing up my very first Losi XX, fitted with a Gil Losi Jr 19T motor and wondering how a LiPo pack will go with this setup?
I have used a LiPo pack before on a more modern brushed motor and found that the enduro brushes would wear out after 2 runs even with med springs. I would like to be able to use a LiPo pack gives a brushed motor, but not at the expense of destroying some of my older motors. I would eventually like to use a Reedy Red Dot, 14tx4 (from memory) in the Losi.

If the 410K can handle Lipo's (I know it doesn't have the cut off feature, so have to watch that) would I need to program the amp's down to be safe?

Hi Ty,

I'm not sure what mode of shipping you are sending with but I've still not received anything from you side. Can you check and see what's happening ?
I'm now in between frustrated and upset of the long delay. Can you let me know what's happening ?

@ Ty

Are we expecting a new software release soon? Something that will appease ROAR and remove the 'hold' on the 208 software?

Thanks!

Hi guys, I have just taken my RS Pro from my SC truck, and rewired it for my 1/12th circuit car. The only problem is that now, on power up, the 1st, 3rd and 5th LED blink very fast, and there's no power to the motor! The servo/RX work fine, but no drive at all. I have re-installed the latest 208 software, but the speedo still does the same thing. I tried a differant motor, and differant sensor wire, but it still does the same!

HELP!!

But seriously, if anyone knows what is going on, and how to fix it, please let me know! Many thanks, Chris.

We are not releasing any specific information or a release date at this point. The motors are still in development and the designs have not been finalized. In general it will be spring time, which is pretty late for us here in the mountains We plan to take our time and get it right.

Default Redline 17.5 - No Boost Set Ups?

Does anyone have a set up for running the Redline 17.5 motor in a no boost 1/12th scale race? Timing, Rotor, Roll out?

I'm also using an RS Pro with V 2.12.

Thank you.

Most are running motor timing around 20 depending on the motor.

Rollout/gearing is heavily track dependent.
