Hi Randy,

I am from the land downunder.

I just bought a RSPro and 17.5 Redline combo as well as Hotwire. I am new to Tekin. Have been able to follow through getting latest Vega 2.0 downloaded and installed.

The question I have is

What is the advantage if any running Dual Mode versus running Sensored Mode. I looked at a couple of team driver set up sheets for 17.5 and they all ran Sensored Mode with 0 timing advance at the motor. Is that the preferred set up for 17.5?

Thanks

dual mode is using timing advance only (30deg) and no motor timing, used more in the low turn mod class ,in sensored mode for high turn stock classes you get the motor timing, timing boost and turbo boost and tuning with the start and end rpm range, all these features are why tekin is on top of the esc game

for that one setting in hotwire that deals with Concave, etc. I believe for throttle response. Which setting gives it a linear feel?

Most of the time, these problems can be solved by reloading the software into the speed control. Hook up the hotwire and select 203. Click "update esc" and then go through the setup procedure again. That should take care of your problem.

What voltage does a Tekin RS Pro output to the receiver and servo?

Also, can it be changed?

Thanks.

I thought the voltage of the battery you use.
So as you use a 2 cell lipo 7,4V and as you use a 1 cell lipo 3.7V

No it can not be changed with the speedo.

the bec of the speedo limits voltage to 5.7 to the rx/servo. but it does nto boost voltage. so if you have less then 5.7 to the speedo, then whatever you feed the speedo is what it feeds to the rx/servo
