Shouldn't take long to resolve it they register through the original registrar.

It has been updated and paid, it should reflect that on the site soon.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

We already lost Tekin.com to the domain scabs. This could have been ugly. Appears we messed up the email account that the notices are sent to and it had expired.

Default RS pro / Hotwire

Any Idea what ver 189 custom throttle profiles 1 and 2 look like? Are they fixed or are they user adjustable? How can I view them? Could I setup a custom throttle curve of my own?

Talking Need some help with Hotwire installation

I bought my RS Pro used from someone. The ESC itself seems to work fine no problem so far.

I do not have an original CD that came with the Hotwire. But whenI was trying to install the Hotwire on my PCs I ran in to some problem. Here is some details about the problem I am having.

I have 2 desktop computers and 1 laptop. Desktops are running XP pro and laptop is running XP home. According to Microsoft Update site I have no High Priority, Software Optional or Hardware Optional that need to be installed. And I have 2 USB cables that I can use.

Today it was the first time I plugged my new to me Hotwire in.

3 of my PCs never told me “Found New Hardware – Tekin HotWire”. Checked the Device Manager looking for “Teken HotWire” but it wasn’t there. I was never prompted by the “Found New Hardware Wizard”.

Look around some more I notice all of my 3 PCs found Tekin HotWire and put it under “Human Interface Devices” (photo).

Then I attempted to update the driver per instruction sheet but unable to do so as you can see the error message (photo).

Thanks for looking

Is there a site where team drivers and club racers are sharing there settings on the RS speedo's for different types of tracks or track condition motor types and so on?

The hotwire profiles page is still undergoing development, which is partly related to the settings we dial into the RS/Pro.

Your best bet is to check here:

http://forum.teamtekin.com/phpbb3/viewforum.php?f=30

or here:

Tekin RS ESC sensored

Or even throw a question out there here if you are not sure about something. That said, it's very difficult to keep tabs on all the different threads out sometimes there I guess!

hope that helps.

Thanks just was curious as to what everyone else was doing and finding in timing boost and motor advance and retard in relation to motor temp rpm and torque...It would be nice to be able to compare w/other club racers and to check them against what team drivers are doing..

No problem, that's what we're all here for

Recently it seems that hotwire timing has been preferred over motor timing, as it keeps things working better. Better for performance and better for keeping everything cooler.

From my understanding, (you might want to ask around though as I am still very new to brushless, period) you do still have to watch your gearing and your temperatures when you start changing the timing...

Yeah that's about where I am at....zero motor timing and then work the boost and dial in timing with track size, layout and conditions...
