What motor did you use it with? You might be better off going on the team tekin forum off Tekin's official website, there you'll get a quick reply from the guys at tekin themselves.

Pretty certain TEKIN have no stock, your best bet is ebay. Rare and pretty expensive to get these days!

Connecting the Orion motor is not a problem. You can not really do anything wrong.

The speedo motor post are marked R / W / B

If you look at the motor endbell with the tabs up, the connections from right to left are A - B -C or Red - white - black. If you switch any 2 wires it will reverse direction.

The R1 is designed for and works best with the Redline slotless motors. The R1works really well with low turn sensored/slotted motors. It runs the higher turn sensored/slotted motors extremely well, but does not start them perfectly. Users have figured out they can use huge gearing with these motors really demonstrating the incredible torque available with BL motors. These high rollouts make starting issues and rolling back issues more difficult to deal with on the 13.5 and slower motors. For best performance in these applications the new RS sensored version will be available before long.

What is the difference between the FX and the FX PRO. I am not planning on running mod so is it still worth going with the pro.

Thanks

The Fxpro has twice as many fets as the Fx. It is taller, but has the same footprint. The Fx is barely working on a 19turn motor and will even handle a 10turn in most applications. They have the exact same features and user programmable settings.

We consider the Fx as the best bang for the buck we sell.

Hey Jim, what do you mean before too long? I have waited and waited for official rules on BL's before I have bought one. I had an inside tip that you guys were coming out with a sensored speedo, and after running the Tekin in the 24hr I told myself I could wait. So, any idea on the approximate time line of the RS?

Thanks

I'm running the FX in my 1/12th with a 19T. I ran it for the first time yesterday and was really happy with the performance. Now to get around to tweaking the setings It does require a power cap but it is very small in comparison to the power cap used by other ESCs on the market.
