Can someone tell me if the new tekin R1 pro is going to be compatable with Novak sensored motors?

That is what is causing the delay in the release, as the Novak motors were doing funky things to the ESC during a run, I believe (but don't quote me as gospel) that it may well be resolved, feedback is slow at the moment, as Tekin management are away at this time.

So what will you do with the sensor wire, just tuck it away? will there be a slot to plug it into on the esc? I cant wait for the R1 I've been running Tekin products ever since I was 10 and had a G12 in my RC10T. Since then I've switched to novak, now I'm tring to get back into a tekin setup! hopefully it wont be too much longer!

there will be no need for the sensor wire, there is nowhere to plug it into the R1, so you just leave it unplugged, and put it in the best place for it... back in the Novak box

Hi All,

My battery nurse arrive today, then I got my batteries to test them.

So, I put all cables at batteries packs and all leds blinks red, except the number 1, so, I switch the batteries and the led one not blicks. I remove all of them and tested one by one: the led 1 never blicks, I'd tested in 6 distinct packs, the led 2 blinks connected or disconnected, the other blinks only when connected to soma battery pack.

I'd tried to test with a full charged pack and the results were the same.

My question is, is it normal?

Thanks in advance for any tip, help or suggestion.

The led's only "blink" or cycle on/off when the pack is under the specified voltage level. So if you're putting on charged packs they will not need to be "hit" with love. A dumped pack may read something and get the love after a few days. I noticed that my "stock" packs take at least 4 days to see the love where the "Mod" packs take it same day...

Might be worth just checking your connection of the wire to the croc clip (or whichever connector you have used).

Default New Team Tekin Driver

Hello all,
As a new member of Team Tekin and also a Moderator here at RCTECH, I will attempt to follow this forum on a regular basis and keep you updated on what's happening at Tekin.

Currently the news is the R1 is getting really close. So if you are thinking of a new speed control purchase hold off for just a little while longer and get the best right out of the box.

Will it be out at least 3 weeks before the IIC? I NEED a ball park date now.
