Default C-Max 4700 40c

I just saw this battery on the Tower Hobbies website today so I googled it and found there isn't much out there on this battery. Is it new? Has it already been released? (Tower states late June but they were wrong on the Cmax 5200)

thanks

I have that battery. It seems to be ok. I have not noticed anything special. It is my first 40c battery and to be honest I can't tell the difference between my orion 3800 30c lipos. I ran it in my oval car and was hoping to see a little something on my lap times when compared back to back with the orions and I didnt see anything noticable in the 5 minute test I did. Maybe the pack will get better with some use, I sure hope so.

I have two and couldn't be happier. I run them in my stock slash and really notice a difference when accelerating out of turns. I've run both the smc 5200 40c and the 5000 28c, and this battery for the price can't be beat. In my opinion, just a great battery.

wanna know why you didnt notice anything beween the packs?????

nothing short of running MOD touring car with a sub 5 turn motor you wont see anything....

nothing above a mod car can pull any where close to 40C... save the 60 to 80 bucks and buy the 28C packs...

C rating are a bunch of hype....
