Thanks so much for the revo packs. Thats gonna be great. Do you recomend more then 1c charge rate for the 8600's? I can charge 10 amps would that be safe?
Hey nice pack you got there! I'm presently converting my e-revo to brushless with a tekno neu 1515 1y and wondered if you had any idea what would be the working voltage of your 3s 5500 pack wired in 6s1p style. My motor should draw about 110 amp burst and would really love to have the highest voltage possible during my burst output so I get the highest speed possible.
I'm either gonna take your pack or go with neu energy 5000 30c. If I could see data test of your pack it would help me make up my mind, I can't afford to buy both of em to test it out
The info on these packs is very new and our planned release date is middle to end of February. The exact capacity and C rate is no yet determined as our supplier is using a new method to make these packs so final C rate and mAh may change once testing is done.
I can't really comment on the Neu Lipos as we haven't tested them.
I can tell you our Lipo supplier makes what we feel to be the best Lipos on the market when it comes to performance and cycle life. They have very good R&D and there always making improvements. The latest improvement is capacity increase while keep the same size and weight.
Thanks for the quick reply! I'll wait for your pack to be tested before buying my new battery. Had many good comments on SMC, and if those are improved, I guess they would be as good as Neu with a lower price
Lipo rating can be confusing as there are now actual standards.
So a 30C Lipo from one brand can be the same a 20C or 25C from another brand as it all depends on how the manufaturers tests for C rate.
We use 90% capacity retention under full C rate discharge. This the highet standard and many manufacturers use 80% which allows them to claim higher C rate.
We hope to improve our website in the coming weeks/months to show C rate testing and graphs as we have nothing to hide and in fact we have everything to gain by showing this info as our standards of tetsing are very strict.
billythekid - I'm not Danny, but I will say the 4000 fits no problem, but the 5000 pack you will need to remove the plastic tray and shave the bulk head about 2mm.
Hope this helps,
Mark

Can you let me know which of your race spec Lipo would fit the Cyclone TC without modification? I don't mind removing the battery tray.
Also, which of your lipo would provide the absolute best performance for 11.5T brushless class.
Thanks
With Lipos typically the bigger cells will have a bit better IR so I would get the new 5200/40C+ for 11.5T. It should be a bit better than our 24 and 28C especially with lower turn motors as higher C rate cells run better as the amp draw goes up.
Will Tower hobbies be carrying these? I have never bought your batteries before but rest assured I will own these as soon as they are available.
Tower Hobbies should eventually have these but they seem to be slow to stock our new items. Stormer Hobbies stocks all our packs and preorders them so he gets them as soon as they come out.
With the Chinese New Year vacation going on now we won't get any updates on our new line of packs for a few weeks.
We should have final details as the info posted above is preliminary info and we might be able to offer higher capacity at the same size and price. So stay tuned for the final info as I will post it as it becomes available.

Thanks Mark and Danny.
One more question. How would you compare the SMC 5200/40C+ with LRP 5200 28C in actual. I can see the 40C+ racing is much higher than the LRP's 28C, does that translate to noticeably better punch on the track, especially with high turn motor like the 11.5 turn?
