If there is enough room for our 9000/28C pack that should be good for this application. This pack has low IR with good average voltage.

We hope ot have our new packs in by the middle of March.

I am under the impression that a 40c battery will make my electronics run cooler than say a 25c due to the extra amperage available. Is this correct? Just like running a 5S or 6S battery provides less strain on electronics.

I don't think that this will make your electronics run cooler as the difference in voltage is not much.

The reason I was thinking that a 40c battery would be better in this regard is because if you have more amperage in the same voltage battery you would have less fluctuation in voltage. I am just assuming that is why the electronics are stressed with a 4S with a lower C rating is because of fluctuation of voltage.

If your using the same motor the amps pulled out with a better pack maybe more which will create a bit more heat. How they get the electronics to be cooler is by using smaller/less powerful motors and allowing the higher voltage higher cell count packs to provide the power.

Hey,

What is the status of these packs? I am getting ready to buy new packs for my E-Revo and I would rather have packs meant for the truck.

Thanks

The release of the 6000 and 9000 pack will be end of March. Were so behind on orders of our 24C/5200 and 40C packs that we had to get more of these done before we could release the new packs.

Danny,

So the 5000mAh 14.8V 40C+ Soft case pack.
Retail: 270.00 Street Price: 169.00
Size: H35mm X W45mm X L160mm
This pack is intended for 1/8th Scale off-road buggies.

Is this pack still on track to be released at the end of the month? I am just trying to plan how I am going to spend Februarys budget . On new battery or extra charger for new battery coming out next month. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you,

Bryan

This pack will be available in 3 weeks at the latest. Packs should be going through assembly later this week. One week for them to get to us and one week to get them out to distributors.

Will the E-revo packs be configured with left & right wire configuration? If the wires are to short it could make it difficult to plug the battery into the ESC

What would the wire length have to be for one wire configuration to work on both sides ?

If the wires came came out of the side of the pack instead of the top or the end of the pack, then they could be universal and work on either side without overly long wires.

Wires have to come out the end on one side. The tabs where the wires need to be soldered are on the end of the pack.

Can they come out of the pack in any other location? The current location on most of your packs is great for one side but for the other side the wires have to cross from the far inside of the box to the outside of the box to be able to get out of the battery box to be plugged in.

One of the big drawbacks to the E-Revo is those battery boxes.
