Did some racing today... and I finally beat the local fast guys who make the A mains where ever they go. I could'nt of done it with out slingshot and banzai...

Anybody else do any racing this weekend??? I know the Boices ran at SoCal today but are probably driving home to Vegas/Utah as I type this. Fill me in guys and girls.....

Now I have some really sad news. I just read K&M in Houston,

Texas is closing. Jason and Scott attended a Roar Mod Nats

there a few years ago. PLEASE read and think about this!

No track can survive with 1 or 2 big races a year. We have

GOT to bring back club racing, be it on-road, off-road, or oval.

We have people making

a real effort to bring it back in our area! California has always

been the leader, and we MUST lead in this effort!! We've got to

show them how to do it if we want 1/10 scale electric to survive.

This is OUR hobby, we can't wait for a company, or organization,

or anyone else, we can do this! Keith and Jeremy are dedicated to

making this happen, and we can all help. Even if it's just sweeping off

the track, show them you CARE!! BE THERE!!!!!!!

We will be there Saturday for the JBRL warm up race! You can practice

and race for $10.00! That's right, practice and race for $10.00 and

20% off all products in the store. We will be giving away some

neat products! I want to see a real show of support this Saturday

from the Banzai/Slingshot team!!!!! Please, I LOVE this hobby, and

I LOVE club racing!!!!!!!

Hi Keith, we just got to Vegas. It was a light turnout at SoCal today. Kyle ran mod buggy and mod truck. He TQ'd both classes and won mod buggy. He was WAY out in front in mod truck but had an axle snap when he skimmed a pipe in the sweeper.

On Friday night at SoCal, I won stock truck and Kyle was fifth in mod buggy. He was way off the pace Friday night because we got there too late to practice. Today, Kyle was over a lap faster than he was on Friday night. The track was slower today too as it's getting more rough and much more slippery.

Anyway, we're looking forward to Pegasus on Saturday and Revelation on Sunday. Thanks again for the awesome batteries. All politics aside, you're packs really are the best out there!

Chris and Boice Family--I look forward to seeing you guys again this weekend. We should have a great time club racing at "The Stadium" and JBRL at Revalation.
