Last I heard, Slingshot Batteries is closing shop Hence the reason for not bringing in more cells.

Well, it's been way to long since I have posted anything on this thread so it's time that I officially bring this to a close...........

For those of you who have not already heard, I have decided to close the doors on Slingshot Batteries. With a flooded LiPo market and the slow death of the NiMh cells it was the right choice for my family and I. It has not been an easy decision but one that had to be made. It's been a great time for the past 4 years and I want to thank both my customers and my team drivers for all their support. After all, the company could not have become what it did in such a short time without any of you. I truely appreciate everything you have all done for me.........So on that note here is a short recap of our success over the past few years. Please feel free to add to it if I have forgotten anything..........

4 ROAR National Championships as well as several podiums
5th at IFMAR Off-Road Worlds in Japan--TQ first round
3 Cactus Classic Championships and several podiums
The Battery of choice at 2007 Cactus Classic--just check the A mains...
Hot Rod Hobbies Shoot Out Champions and several podiums
Countless JBRL Championships (Off-road & On-road)
JConcepts Clash podiums
April Fools Classic sweep of the Pro classes
CRCRC Winter Race podiums
Reedy Truck Race championships and podiums

I'm sure the list is much longer, so please feel free to add to the list before this thread officially closes up on Novemeber 30th.......

For those that are interested, I have taken a position with an industry leader so I'm sure I will see you all at the track sometime soon.

And lastly thank you once again for being part of this chapter in my life. I've made some great friends over the past few years and i look forward to continueing those relationships into the future.....................

It sadens me to hear the news about Slingshot. I have been with you for quite some time and have enjoyed hanging out with you at races, and am proud to have raced with some of the best battery packs ever matched. Thanks for all the memories Keith and best of luck in your new endevores.
