Autodrift Special Edition Competition 2015 (25 April 2015)
Dear All Drifters,
Autodrift is excited to co-organize a Special Edition RC drifting competition incorporating 3D printed parts.
Venue: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre
Date: 25 April 2015 (Saturday)
Time: 9.00am to 7:00pm
Entry Fees: Free Entry
* Maximum Entries: 40 participants in total for both CS and RWD categories.
This will be an opportunity to pit your drifting skills with 3D printed car parts that are designed by yourself. For this tech challenge event, all participating cars must be fitted minimally with 3D printed spoiler and rims to be eligible for participation.
For registered participants, 2 sessions of free workshops will be provided for you to learn the basics of 3D printing technology and designing your own car parts. There will be trainers to guide you through the design and printing.
As this is a special edition event, there will be no participation fee involved. Please, however, confirm that you are available to commit your time in the pre-event workshops and competition dates before registering.

Eligibility - Update
1. Please ensure that you can commit to ONE of the above-mentioned dates for 3D Printing workshop.
* Strongly suggest to participate both workshop.
2. Participation in 3D Printing workshops and Drift Competition is compulsory.
3. All cars must be fitted with 3D printed spoiler and rims to be eligible to participate in this event.
Category 1: Counter Steering Class (4WD).
Category 2: Rear Wheel Drive (RWD).
* RWD – Maximum weight 1,800grams include body shell & batteries.
Rules & Regulations (Apply to CS & RWD)
1. Chassis – Open to any 1/10 EP Drift Chassis (see note).
2. Body Shell – Open to any Yokomo Drift body shell (No approved sticker is needed for this event).
3. ESC / Motor – Open to any brands.
4. Batteries – Open to any brands NiCd / MH7.2v, Life 6.6v or LiPo 7.4v.
5. Official Tires – Autodrift Pro Grip Tires.
* Maximum total weight for Rear Wheel Drive class – 1,800 grams (include body shell & batteries)
Prizes
1. Group A – Trophies for Top Qualifier & Top 8.
2. Group B – Trophies for Top 3.
3. Best Body Shells – Trophies for Top 3.
3α. Best Car/Bodyshell Design using 3D printing Technology – Cash prize of $200.00.
Workshops
All registered competitors are required to provide their own laptop or MacBook for the workshops.
* We will cater in-house laptop for use after lesson 1 at Autodrift store if you do not have a laptop or MacBook.

1. Maximum entries for both categories in total: 40 entries.
2. Priority will be given to Yokomo, enRoute, MST, RC-Art and Outclip chassis (with sticker) if total number exceed 40 entries.
