As long as it is a F103 chassis, we wouldn't care much about anything else that's inside the car.

We used to run in a group, with F1s and Le Mans together. It was fun.

We'll have corner markers for the "homemade track". The thing is most of us have commitments, so the Sunday F103 Run will be only a few hours in the late morning till early afternoon.

those tamiya GT1 bodies may be difficult to find now. i still have a NIB protoform porsche GT1 for use on this project, but the foam tires on my F103RX have hardened already, and there's no spare tires around....last i tried my F1 at bk's track in january, the car lost grip down the straight and whacked hard onto the track barriers and cracked a left rear rim

i used to run a 17x3 in my 1/12 with 6 cells, still quite ok, but i wont try a 14 turn motor though...

i think the foam tires u can try to get from winnie, if not then ebay is the better choice. i got a new set of F1 3645 back tires with rims, fixed but haven use,n front integrated slicks. im trying to get the cross GTP bodies.
F103 is realli fun but not many ppl like it as they find the handling tricky..
actuali wanted to get 1/12th but parts so scarce.

BK stocks lots of CRC parts. Most 12th scale breakable parts are interchangable, like AE/CRC front arms, the lowered rear plates etc...except for kawada.

Anyone here tried the F103GT with rubber tires already? How does it handle?

Default foam tires for F103?

hiya guys,
i was in BK's store just last week, he has stack loads of Tamiya foam tires(donuts) for F103 and wheels. still looks pretty fresh to me.
also, you can get pretty good rubber tires from Rotor hobbies, very sticky but you need to get the rubber wheels for them.
hope this helps with your tire issues.

ciao!

I've got my F103Gt up and running and cannot figure out what those plastic sheets are for. Possibly for the packaging's sake.

One of my buddies and I have decided to run the F103Gt this Sunday. Location is unconfirmed. I have another buddy's also running one but I'm not sure if he can get it up and running this Sunday.

Anyone wanna join us?

Alfie

The 2 plastic sheets is for use as spacer for people whos servo is thinner. See page 5 of the instruction.
