TAMIYA 16TH ASIA CUP SINGAPORE CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 - Information
Hi Everyone ,
As we are approach the end of 2012, it's been a great year for local racing scene seeing new upcoming champions born. As well as seeing 2 local driver (PY Tang and Leonard Sim) taking their win in 4WD GT Class and M-Chassis Class in Tamiya Asia Cup Finals 2012 in Korea. With that we have 2 new Asia Champions In Town !
Though there quite a number of clash in Race Schedule this year but the races were all completed. We would like to thank all participating drivers to make racing in 2012 such memorable.
As we put an end towards the racing calendar of 2012. Here we are getting ready for 2013 !! We have an increased no. of races for the 2013 season and racing will start as early as January 2013 !!!
Here are the dates for Tamiya Asia Cup Singapore Championship 2013 !
Please note down the race schedules for TAC 2013 , unless otherwise stated else there is no change.
Race 01 - 20 January 2013
Race 02 - 10 March 2013
Race 03 - 14 April 2013
Race 04 - 19 May 2013
Race 05 - 9 June 2013
Race 06 - 14 July 2013
Race 07 - 11 August 2013 (Compulsory race for drivers fighting for positions)
Race Venues will be announced shortly.
TAC 2013 Finals will be in Thailand in the month of September (dates will be confirm again).
Race details are currently under review and will be posted as soon as it is finalized.
Let's look forward to next year 16th TAC 2013 and hope we can bring R/C racing to the next level of excitement !

I am looking forward to race the finals of the SIngapore TAC 2013 series..... Can't wait to be back! I will like to pre-register for the August race.... Looking forward to see everyone!

I will be back next week for 2 weeks. Then back in July next ear for good. Got to check out the local racing scene!

1) Super Stock (TT01 only)
2) M-Chassis (M-05 and M-06 Only)
3) F104 (All F104 Series)
4) FF03 (Only FF03,FF03pro & FF03R. FF03 Conversion Kit Not allowed)
5) GT (All Tamiya 4WD Cars -- including TRFs)
6) RM-01 (Support Race Only ! -- Not for TAC Finals)
Motor Turns:
1) Super Stock -- Tamiya E.S.C (sensorless) & Tamiya 18T Motor (sensorless)
2) M-Chassis -- Tamiya E.S.C (sensorless) & Tamiya 18T Motor (sensorless)
3) F104 -- Tamiya E.S.C (sensorless) & Tamiya 14T Motor (sensorless)
4) FF03 -- Tamiya E.S.C (sensorless) & Tamiya 16T Motor (sensorless)
5) GT -- Tamiya E.S.C (sensorless) & Tamiya 12T Motor (sensorless)

Look like we got a major revamp of the gt class. The trf chassis is finally allowed.

Is the trf chassis also allowed for the Tamiya asiacup or just for the local racing series?

For Superstock class, are we allowed to solder motor direct to esc, as done last year?
