Default Questions about R/C in Singapore

Hi, I am from Thailand and have the possibility of moving to Singapore. I would like to know how many offroad tracks are there? Are there any nitro 1/8 tracks? I would really miss driving nitros there. Where are the hobby shops located?

I will be staying near the Singapore American School. (IDK where that is)

You're out of luck. The only off-road track available for racing is no longer in operation. There are a few tracks that people do go for bashing and have fun. We normally travel up to Malaysia - JB/ KL, Pattaya for races. Malaysia hosts monthly race.
Hobby shops - Bedok, Bugis, Bukit Timah, Ubi, etc.

Unfortunately, there are no indoor tracks here although there are some that have built tracks below flyovers. As some others have said, for nitro offroad, the main organised tracks are across the causeway in nearby Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The good news is that you will be staying in the North since that's where the Singapore American School is. So, Malaysia will not be too far away.

If you are willing to consider EP offroad, you may wish to check out www.raceworks.sg, which operates an offroad track and an onroad track for EP vehicles. There is a hooby shop onsite, with a sheltered paddock area with power supply and air compressor. It is also in the north of Singapore (Yishun/Sembawang) so it will be quite near to where you will be residing. Please feel free to shoot me a PM if you need an additional info.

Welcome to the Lion City
