Default Sirio EVO2 engines

Where is a good place to buy one in SG and also is spare parts easily available? Anyone with experience on this engine in terms of reliability (heard about leaking carbs and weak conrod) and also engine tuning?

Thanks.

Default sirio evo2

hi,

i have a evo2 5-port engine for 6-9 mths now. you can still prob get them and parts from hobbybug at marina south or hobby paradise at sembawang. priced around $300++ then.

parts are still cheaper compared to nova ones over here.

think someone is selling for under $300 over the selling thread for a brand new one.

rather easy to break-in, no prob with conrod so far, just find that the carb screws are rather lose, better use high temp silicon to seal up during next maint.

pretty decent power when engine temp abt 110-120degC and value for money.

there is also a thread on this engine somewhere, just search for "sirio evo".

ciao......
