Singapore Grand RC-Drifting Championship 2012

Taroda Racing will be organising one of the long waiting event for RC Drifting. RC Drifting is already a common scene that we could see from
every corners of Singapore. We would like to take this opportunity to bring out the best Rc Drifter in Singapore through this Competition.

Schedule 4th and 5th August 2012 at ARC Shopping mall. (PSA BUILDING).
The event is already confirmed at ARC Alexandra Retail Centre on 3rd to 5th August.
The race day will be on the 5th August 12pm to 8 pm. Qualifying will be on Saturday 4th August 6pm to 9pm and 10am to 5pm will be free practice.
Race will include Dress up Car contest and the registration fee is $40.00 . This race will be a collaboration between Taroda Racing, Stargek, Autodrift and Street Revolution.
There will be a track size about 12 meter X 10 meter. Lane width about 1.2 meter.

Example For Race concept

4 Drivers will be Racing together in a 10 laps Drift race battle. Each Driver will be given 40 points at the start of each race.
In the race, drivers' objective are to maintain the highest points possible. Points will be deducted for every mistake the driver makes.

Points will be deducted based on :
Mistake type:
1.Hitting front car
2.short cut
3.Not drifting ...etc

First driver to pass finishing line(Only for main race): plus 5 points
Second: Plus 4 points
Third: Plus 3 points
Forth: Plus 2 points


Cars will equip with transponder


All Starting Position will be 2Meter away From Each Driver,
!!!SO QUALIFYING ROUND IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Qualifying


- Each Driver will Run 2 laps during the Qualifying Round on 4th August 2012
- In each Lap, drivers will score Class position and start position based on the times achieved.

For example:

Name/Qtime

Driver A: 53.3sec
Driver B: 53.2sec
Driver C: 52.1sec
Driver D: 55.5sec
Driver E: 60.0sec
Driver F: 49.9sec
Driver G: 49.7sec
Driver H: 51.5sec
And so on.
Driver A to H will be our A main Drivers.

Starting position will be...

[B]Second in Starting Driver H 51.5
[B]Third in Staring Driver B 53.2
[B]forth in Starting Driver D 55.5

Requirement

Chassis: Open to all 1/10 scale RC Drift Cars

Body Shell: Open (Only Brand New Body Shell can be use)

Battery: Open to not above 7.4v
Motor/ESC: Open
Tyre: To be advised later
(Tyre will be checked before start of Race)
(Floor surface: Carpet.)

Drift Type: 4x4 & C.S
