Bryan: or open up the f1 class into "Open, All Scale Pan car!"

Chassis: Tamiya F103, Cross Fireforce, Corally C10X, CCT, Associaated RC12, RC10L3 etc. other 1/10 and 1/12, 1/8 if someone can hack it (follow the jap install brushless in a serpent 1/8!!!).

Bodies: F1, GTP or Sedan

Cells and motors: No limit.

Tires: Open

Limitation: Maximum of 6 tires on the track

Or consider Long Format F1 racing, which will probably bore the touring car ppl to death! http://www.formula1-rc.com/articles/LongFormat.asp

Raygun: Thanks

Ozone: Sad lah. Accorinding to ART2 if there are enough entries, there will be a F1 carpet race included in the CCKRCMC 21st race.

I agree with the open pan class. Thats a good idea Alvin. I m sure that there are many racers with F1 chasis but did not want to race because of the poor traction and difficult handling. And also some of them had only GT bodies as the F1 bodies has become hard to find.

So why not racers run gtp as well as F1 bodies.? The gtp body will also make handling much easier when the surface is dusty.
Just introduce a rule to make it fair. Maybe like GTP can only use stock motor while F1 can use modified. What do you guys think?

ozone: Thats just too bad you would have finished third ahead of me if not for your mechanical failure(hmm Ferraris are still more reliable) and interference. My last round started by literally letting everyone past me. Very bad case of 'Tanglephobia'.

jimmyd, tats a gd one...btw u suggested a stock motor for a gtp shell and open for the f1...a sport tune is a stock motor...u noe wat i'm getting at rite

alvin, art2: mayb u guys should put up a word with the cck organiser to run gtp rather than f1 shells to c hows the responds...if its gd...then i tink the rcs organiser might introduce it to their races...like recommended by the both of u

Are you trying to say that its still not fair because you have a stock motor that can lap faster than a 9T double?

I think yours is a special case, either your sport tune or your car is not normal.

Default working on it...

hi guys.

well, we would like F1 to remain as it is for the purists

but maybe come out with a 1/10th scale pan car class to add on instead... it'll be open motors, but 6-cell and GTP bodyshell only... again, nothing is formalized yet, we'll still have to gauge the response, feasibility and work out the details before anything is final... of coz we'll also do our best to level the requisites and make it enjoyable...

we're working on it

thx for the suggestions too

Hey will you guys allow one "outlaw" racer to run the F1 class with GTP body? For fun; results not counted.

juz a note, if we were to run the pan class...wat would happen to the f1 class...can't possibly be changing my f1 to pan and vice versa after every heats (hehe only one car for both) ...

y not alternate the f1 and gtp classes...for eg. tis month f1 then next month gtp, then rotate again...

that is a great idea!
a) Not series race so not a problem with points
b) Can compare timing of GTP VS F1
c) Ppl w/o F1 shell can run! Yeah!
