I may be wrong but I believe that 5.5t might be a bit too much.
U might wanna tune down ur punch level or the expo on ur tx.
Some advise I've received from them is to let go of ur throttle and turn into the corner early, this should allow ur rear to slide. But it also depends on ur tires..
Segar track to me is a high speed, high traction with relatively high speed corners.
U may consider depending on ur driving skills if u like to power slide thru corners or have on power steering.
This is my 2 cents. And how I normally drive at segar.
I maybe wrong.

End of the day u want to have less running up and down and have more time completin the course..
Once u are confident of the course then it's time to tackle the jumps.
This is a valueable advise given to me when I first started out...

Another feature of the segar 1/10 track is the enormous jump after the u turn and the straight...
After that enormous jump is a series of humps which can ruin your cars momentum and flip it over if you dont land right and if u jump too high...you may end up breaking a shock tower or two.
Try to land on the downward slope at the same time point your cars nose downwards to align with the gradient of the slope and using the momentum, pull a burst of throttle and jump over all the humps at once...

For conventional 2WD/4WD buggy, I believe there can be some baseline gearing and motor setups at Segar. But come to the big boys (4X4 SCT), it is still best to bring a temperature gauge and try out your truck on site. These "newer" 4x4 trucks are hard on electronics, and there are so many types n makes now, it is wiser to track test yours personally, watching the temps.
We have had our fair share of burnt 540 motors in the early days, and also some (540s) which have survived well too. So test your equipment on site, save your pocket.
Everything being stock, my Hyper 10SC came back ok after 15mins with a 70A ESC, 3850kv 4 pole 550 motor & a 40C 2S lipo.
Our Hyper TT run nicely with 35A ESCs, 4300kv 540 (380) motors & 30-40C 2S lipos.
Yes (Not me tho).
Very nice rally car once you get the rear drive shafts nicely spaced. (DF03RA has tendency to spit out rear dog bones here. )
Also good to do is set the ball diff to suit driving style. There are some tight turns in the circuit which requires breaking loose the rear or having very small turning radius.

Kopi session at track sounds plush too! If I can't do the:
"land on the downward slope at the same time point your cars nose downwards to align with the gradient of the slope and using the momentum, pull a burst of throttle and jump over all the humps at once..."
pls do not tie ur kopi and do a kopi bomb on my poor bug ya! Think next session must bring a projector.. I dunno what degrees are the gradient of the jumps. Must align them properly

Btw how do you land on the downward slope at the same time point your cars nose downwards to align with the gradient of the slope and using the momentum, pull a burst of throttle and jump over all the humps at once???!!!

Lol... +1
However ndrew, i've seen a few guys that cleared the jumps. All three of them, it boils down to the motor and settings. Be it a sct or buggy...
End of the day it's how u wanna clear the jumps base on ur car config and confidence lvl.
P.s the jump at segar is nothing once u've seen btp. Just my 2cents.
No offence to team segar an the guys maintaining the tracks there.
